The Unknown - Almighty

His assignment – protect the Czar. His goal – rule the world. There was only one thing in the way of achieving his goal: the Czar of Russia. In the 20 years he’s been alive; he has assassinated the ruler of every country – except Russia – and became the leader of the country, starting with his homeland, Japan. Virtually nobody knows. The only person who knows is his best friend and superior.
Shin Koitowa, a secret agent working for INTEL, a secret international intelligence and security agency located in Japan, has travelled all over the world, assigned to keep peace in every country. Using this as a cover, he kills all the world leaders, assuming their position, without anyone knowing.
Standing outside of the palace, Shin guards the large oak doors that serve as the entrance of the palace. He received a message from his superior, Lieutenant Hasanko, to move closer to the Czar’s throne room. He nods to the other guard guarding the entrance and walks inside the palace. As he walked in, another guard rushes out of the palace to takes Shin’s place. He sees an officer staring him down as he walks by.
The officer stops Shin in his tracks, stepping in his way. Shin looks up at the brolic, dark-skin man, about 6’4” – 6 inches taller than Shin – with low-cut hair and little to no facial hair.
“Remember the mission. Take this with you.” The Lieutenant said to Shin, handing him a folded up map. Shin nods, taking the map as he walks towards the stairs leading to the upper levels of the palace. He reaches the second floor and decides to take a detour. As he walks around the second level of the palace, he takes note of everything he sees – holes in the walls, torn-up carpets, and damaged ceiling.
As he reaches the end of the corridor, he realizes that has hasn’t once passed by a door. He takes out the map and walks back down the corridor. He stops abruptly at one of the holes in the wall and peers through it. There was a room half way filled with gold and jewels. Shin makes note of that and continues to the third level of the palace.
As he approaches the third floor, he takes a glance at the map. I see… He thought to himself. So the throne room is on this level… He walks down the hall until he sees a gold door, jewels embedded around the frame of the door. The wind rushes past from the window at the end of the hall, carrying Shin’s sweat as well.
Shin pushes the door open and walks in. As he closes the door, he hears a booming cough.
“They removed four guards from their post and replaced them with one sorry looking soldier?” Shin, not affected by the Czar’s remark, stands to the left of the door. “This one better not be a disappointment.”
Hours pass as the two men silently stared at each other, waiting for something to happen. As Shin begins to fidget, starting to cramp up, he receives a message from Lieutenant Hasanko, telling him to proceed with his mission. Shin nods and begins to walk forward.
“What are you doing? Why are you moving from your post?” The Czar said, looking more frightened than angry as Shin gets closer. When Shin was less than a foot away, he began choking the Russian leader, cutting the man’s air supply off. With every passing second, the Czar’s face turned a pale blue. Inches away from death, as a last chance to survive, the Czar punches Shin in the face, then kicks him away, causing Shin to stumble backward, losing his balance and falls backward. The Czar gets up, struggling to breathe, pulls out a knife, and hovers over Shin.
“Well… It seems you’re about to die, my friend… But before I kill you, I want to see your face.” The Czar removes the mask covering Shin’s face. The Czar looks in horror at the man’s face. There was nothing there, but two small dots for eyes. The Czar stumbles backward and falls, edging backwards until his back is against the wall. Shin gets up slowly, pulling out a 9 millimeter pistol and aims it at the Czar’s head.
“Please! Let me live!” The Czar said.
A mouth began to form on Shin’s face. “No…” was the last thing he heard. BANG! The Czar died within seconds of getting shot in the head. Hasanko walks into the throne room as a second Shin appears.
“Good job, Shin.” The Lieutenant said. The second Shin transformed into a carbon copy of the Czar as the motionless body of the real Czar began to disappear.
“I guess this means our partnership is over, Shin.” Hasanko said as he aims a RPK at Shin’s head.
“I guess it is, old friend… Good bye.” With a POP, a clone of Shin appears behind Hasanko and cuts his neck off.
