[Edit: new readers, since publication, will note that I have joined We The People. Actually, I have rejoined that party. Since writing, I have decided to take positive steps to bring about reform. I am attempting to reform the Top 5/Unity stranglehold from within.]



Effective parties – the way back

Recycling is all the rage these days. Here is my bit to offer as a solution to the evils of Unity:

“My party would give all members a say in electing the party president by the simple expedient of in-game voting.

My party would be competitive in seeking power, for the good of the country and the good of the party members.

My party would not take orders from government.

My party members would have leaders who promoted new players and spread opportunity around, rather than endorsing the same old candidates every election.

My party would oppose government and external interference and takeover. If the members have their party stolen, we would simply wait and work to get it back. The party would remain alive in its loyal members.

My party would be true to its beliefs and principles. It would never sell its soul in the pursuit of power.

My party would give unconditional support to nobody. Political support does not come for free. It has to be earned and negotiated.

My party would have freedom of speech in its internal workings.

In my party, older players like me would work to develop others and help them toward positions of leadership, both in the party and in the country.

My party would encourage active participation in independent military units, positive use of the media and, most of all, to have fun in the game.”

We are the Voice of the People

We do all of the things listed above. Now is the time for you to join. If you want change, leave your current part and come across.

We are not a zombie party, unlike the existing Unity parties.

We will endorse and support a loyal and patriotic citizen for Country president, fighting against the twin PTOs of Unity and the AFA.

We will put teams of independent thinkers into Congress and allow them to work completely free from any meta-gamer forums and strangling Congressional “procedures”.

We will counterbalance the AFA’s unpatriotic infiltration of enemies into this country by doing OUR OWN RECRUITING from among allies and friends, without seeking approval from anyone, especially the Unity apparatus. Plato explicitly gave individual Congress members this power. It has to be used and used freely and responsibly.

We will talk and deal but will never sell our souls and will never bargain without getting something in return.

We will storm the Top 5 and provide new life to eUS politics.

We will fight relentlessly against foreign invasion and internal oppression.
