The Holy Order - Weekly Military Units Review #6
Vrykolaus Drauvik
The Holy Order is an apolitical Military Unit based in Canada. During the two months of it's existence, this newly formed legion under the guidance of Venerable - Prophet of Mitos, Simon Boucher-Ruest - Sword of Disarys and Leo Balzac - Light of Palaero has become one of the most powerful and dedicated Military powers in Canada.
Under the financial genius of Venerable and Leo Balzac, The Holy Order is a completely self sufficient Military Unit. Twice a week, a combined eighty four Q7 tanks roll off our production lines and into the hands of each member.
Recruitment
The Holy Order require 10k strength minimum requirement to be accepted. All those who do not meet our high standards must follow what is written below.
- Soldiers, you will be required to eradicate 50 adversaries daily. You will find that the Q7 tanks provided will be sufficient enough to achieve this.
- All men and woman must work in the Faith Pits. Missing three scheduled shifts is exile.
- The Prophet is a kind man. If for some reason you are unable to work, please come in contact with our Prophet Venerable, or Leo_Balzac. Missing extended periods beyond seven days is frowned upon, and your fate is at the discretion of our fine leaders.
All those who are interested in joining the ranks of The Holy Order, please contact Prophet Venerable or Leo_Balzac for further details.
The beginning of the war seen a major influence flux. Now that the bazookas and rockets have been fired off, the influence numbers of our nation are beginning to fall to their normal amounts. The Canadian Armed Forces and Captains of Industry hold onto their number one and two spots respectfully despite the largest decreases in influences. The Holy Order stays at number three, while The Night's Watch makes a little ground up this week and threatens the Crimson Canucks number four spot.
The war is winding to it's final conclusion, causing The Holy Order to have a weekly decrease in influence for the first time in three weeks. If we are to keep up these numbers soldiers, we must be diligent in our training and fighting efforts. I call all men and women to arms. It is your duty to serve.
For the second week in a row, we see the monolith Sir DeLaShaunRon Smith desecrate the sanctity of his enemies, throwing down another massive influence blast. 'Duff Man' Darz McCool, always seen in and out of these review lists finishes up with a second place finish. Starscreamzz and John Rikus, elite of the elite who always amaze me with their stalwart performance week after week, finish up third and fourth while anotherlamedrunk, another grizzled veteran rolls into the number five position.
The Holy Order's top Assassin bgc_fan lays it on thick this week, slitting the throats of his adversaries.....slowly. Darz McCool, starscreamzz and John Rikus could smell sweat and fear in the air this week, amassing respectful numbers of their own. Canadium, one of the Holy Order's top overall assassin comes in at a close fifth.
bgc_fan just continues to dominate the overall kill count for The Holy Order, who has held the number one spot since I began creating these Reviews. All the other spots are still the same from last week. We'll have to see if Ultimate523 can pull out a stellar week and try to make some ground.
I will like to thank Alfons Haschberg for his loyal service to The Holy Order and to Canada. Alfons has recently decided to return to his homeland of Sweden. He will surely be missed. Alfons Haschberg, on behalf of The Holy Order it was an honor to fight by your side. I hope your new Military Unit values your strength and courage as much as we did. I salute you.
The next voting for Captains will be approaching very soon. It would appear there will be at least two spots available. I am proud to announce that I will be running again. I regret to inform that if I do become Captain next term, it will be my last one. Real life will be taking a hold of me in the next couple of months, and I will not have the time or energy to put into eRepublik.
Thank you for allowing me to lead you into war, and I hope I can do so one more time.

Great to see you guys are self sufficient, hopefully we can all follow your footsteps

Self sufficiency as an MU is quite easy when your numbers are low and all members are high ranked and mostly self sufficient themselves.
THO is reminiscent of CSD in it's heyday. A very impressive group but not a model that mainstream MU's can follow.
While it is something to strive for, complete self sufficiency for larger MU's who have younger players is more difficult. The best they can do is become as efficient as possible so that any government funding received is just a bonus, not the main part of their supply
Self-sufficiency would be way easier if MUs had a collective org where all the companies could be managed in unison. The downside right now is that we invest our infrastructure in players that are not guaranteed to always be there if they move to another country or MU, or simply leave the game (intentionally or not). Nevertheless, it's a real slog gather the million or so CAD needed to supply the WRM for basic Q6 supply. Going Q7 is going to require a credit card for the larger MUs.
But if you look at it another way, building infrastructure for MU supply is one of the few meaningful and long-lasting challenges/accomplishments left in the game. It provides a good team effort to make the MU engine purr and it's good to see that HO has fine-tuned theirs in a way that looks sustainable.

Do i need to add something from this quote... no.
