The desperate battle to rid the world of Q3 eVacuums that are a bit more powerful than average, is almost won, according to sources in the eSA government.

With new rules limiting the power of eVacuums set to leave thousands of so-called 'Energy Bar' models unsold, the eSA government is claiming a massive victory in the war against people who like their carpets really clean.

After months of bloody skirmishes that have left both sides with innumerable casualties, the eSA government said that victory was finally in sight.

An eSA Presidential spokesperson has explained, "This has been a long, drawn out campaign, and one that will finally see a victory for the civilised world in which eVacuum cleaners are limited to Q2 1,600 watts of power, for at least the eCitizens still remaining after the 'great cleanse of free-thinking eSA citizens' in 2014."

"The tyranny of excessive Q-Power is over. Let us dance in the dilapidated streets and rejoice in the dust-covered halls of government!"

eSA Q5+ Vacuum Cleaners do not slumber

Pro-Q5+ eVacuum militants have said the underground market for high-powered vacuums was already thriving.

As one explained, "I can you get anything you like, don't you worry about that."

"The eSA government might think they've won, but let me tell you now, there are numerous sleeper cells of high-powered vacuum providers across eAfrica, ready to strike at dirty carpets at a moments notice. That cheap silly blue flag washes out quite easily off the branded government stock items."

Prelen of the National Q5 eVacuum Association told us, "They can take away my q7 2,200 watt Miele when they prise it from my cold dead hands!"
