Rylde and Free- Untangling the Knots
Vrykolaus Drauvik
These were all words that came to my mind when I heard the name 'Rylde and Free' Over the last week or so though, it would seem my opinions about this man are slowly beginning to change.
I came into eCanada around the time of the last election. As I did not know much about the political scene, I just read and took in as much as I could. From my understanding, it was a very close race as Rylde barely edged a victory over Nosyt by one vote if I remember correctly. Rylde was now, leader of Canada.
I couldn't believe my eyes as I read the first few of his introductory speeches to the masses. I mean, this man was so stupid it made my soul weep. Talking about wiping his rear end and toilet paper crusties? Blaming bad decisions and short-comings on being drunk, or hung-over? A statement that I took as his First Nation Heritage being superior to the white race? Now when I said I thought he was stupid, I mean this as in I thought that perhaps he was mentally challenged. Handicapped, if you will. As there is nothing wrong with the sort, I still believe a leader should have at least a mind capable of running a Nation.
Rylde brought war to our doorstep next. Myself, as a man that believes conflict should be something that is done during a last resort, was angry. I love this land. The idea of foreigners defecating their ideals and culture down my throat made me ill.
The dirty, decadents of Spain and Poland landed, and may I add took Newfoundland and Labrador. Walking over our forces, their momentum was directed towards the borders of Quebec. The invaders hit a wall, a strong line of defense that sent them back fleeing. A revolt broke out simultaneously to the very place they seeked Sanctuary! Sick of dodging bullets, they fled back to Europe.
Rylde had pulled it off, and as leader of our country successfully coordinated a stellar defense.
I think this war was the greatest thing that could of possibly of happened for this young leader. It showed that in fact, he is not stupid. It shown that given the chance, he can handle himself quite well on the field of battle.
Personally, I would not vote for this man. I like my leaders a little more stable when it comes to dealing with something as important as Canada. But as stated earlier, he has his talents. I could not condemn another man for voting for him.

The battlefield is my home.
you need to do some more reading bro.
🙂 hi 🙂
Rylde, good job defending Canada. Keep it up.
@ Leo Balzac - I'll have you know I read Archie Comics on the crapper everyday. Plus, English is my second language.
Indeed.
More than one way to untangle a knot, as Alexander the Great proved.
Might be fitting in this case, too.

Young leader or not it's time for him to grow up!
@ Adrastos Amon - He impressed myself and a few others in defending Canada. They were on our soil maybe 48 hours at most? Considering we are a smaller nation that was pretty impressive. I'm Pro-EPIC but you have to give the man credit. I'm going to watch him for a while and see what happens.
Rylde can bust his ass when it comes to getting the war going and coordinating when he wants to. He could do a lot more and get more people working with him if he did follow the advice Adrastos provided. It's not really about 'growing up' but more about changing from a player that gets his kicks as a lonewolf to one that becomes a proficient leader of the pack (eh, maybe wolfpack was a bad analogy here, lol)
He's getting closer yet not all the way there yet.
What better way to open a term but to play the retard and spread low expectations lmao.
Then do a hard switch and become a hero.
Richard the III did the same thing, btw.

@ Vrykolaus Drauvik & Plugson . I fully agree with you guys!
This time we were fortunate by not having the pol's and the spaniards against us. As a leader you have to pick up the battles according to your country size and strength. The right battles! What you do know is possible to win.
From where I'm standing We've held our own vs a couple of super powers with more victories than defeats.
As I put it on IRC
I have no problem with Rylde as a person.
I have no problem wih Rylde as CP.
When in comes to Parties and Congress, however, I hate him.
I think every parties motto is, "I hate all of the parties."

the only party hate is between the former EPIC members and current Coalition members, the other smaller parties are caught in the middle, forced to choose sides
Actually, some EPIC members expressed a strong desire to cooperate and listen to coalition members. But for some reason Tyrael deleted his article so those comments on how there is not 'hate everywhere' were lost.
