Hi guys.

I have seen guerilla competition for erepublik players, hearthstone competition for erepublik players, chess competition for erepublik players, I thought I would try to see if anyone is interested in 8 ball pool, or 9 ball pool on android.
It also has an Apple Store version as well, I never tried that, not sure how it works.

There is this form (click) where you can sign up, and if there is enough people, we will hold a tournament. I was thinking to let every pair of people something like 24 hours to play their matchup. Players could PM each other to schedule their pool game.

I thought I would offer 1000 tanks for the winner, if someone else would like to raise the stakes, let me know.

I would like to explain a little bit about the game.
It is a pretty good android game, with a huge number of players. (sometimes I see 100 000 players online) You can also play from your desktop’s browser, but it is a totally different feeling, I think it sucks.

The “cities” inside the game are basically a way to play for different sums of money. For example if you want to play in Dubai, you need 500 000 currency, if you want to play in Moscow, it is 500 currency. If you win, you double your investment.

The game has ads, kinda annoying, but during an active game, nothing is bothering you.
You can also buy stuff for irl money, but you don’t need to. You can win better equipment for example by playing.

The pictures all in one on imgur.

This is where you select what would you like to play. 8 ball, 9 ball. There are some other games, but those suck. In the top right corner you can see the “gold” and the “currency”. Games are played for currency, “gold” is earned on level up.

Menu for the 8 ball game. This is how it looks like when you select the “city”. Slide the cities left or right, and as soon as you selected it, it takes money for the bet away, you will get it back if you win, lose it if you leave the game, or lose. Cities that you do not have money for, are disabled.

8 ball rules, for a city that is not cheap. You need to “call pocket on all shots”. There are cities where you do not have to call pocket only for the last (black) ball. And there are cities, where you don’t have to call pocket on any shot, not even the black one.

This is how an 8 ball game looks like.
Shot timer: The green line around your avatar, when it’s your turn. Don’t think too much, you can lose your turn if expires. On every successful shot the timer gets shorter!
Under your name it shows the balls you need to pocket (stripes or solids, depending on who starts and how), the order doesn’t matter, as long as the black one is the last.
Nice long line showing where are you going to hit.
Depending on your money, you can buy different cues, and they have different precision and power.
Top right corner, there is a white ball, from where you can select what effect you are using for the white ball. It can help a lot, but you don’t necessarily need it.
On every shot, you can select the power you are hitting with, and as I said earlier, the cue also counts. The slider does not appear in the picture, because it wasn’t my turn.
In the middle, on the top of the screen, you can see the money you are playing for.

The rules for the 9 ball game

Pic 6
This is different for 9 ball, there are no cities, here you select the amount you are playing for.

Pic 7
This is how it looks like when you play 9 ball. The “current” ball is always highlighted when it is your turn. If you miss your shot, the opponent will have to hit the same ball. The rest of the controls are pretty much the same as above at Pic 4

Pic 8
This is how you will be able to add someone you know.
You first need to tap the icon in the lower left corner (Pic 1) with the triple icon, then you get to this screen (Pic 😎, showing your “friends”, and an invite link on the bottom right corner.

Pic 9 and Pic 10
This is how you add a user, you need to know the unique userid of that user. That number has a specific format, you can see mine in the screenshot.

This is how it looks after the game is over. It shows who won the game, money gets transferred, you will see some fireworks, and that’s it.
