Poll Results: Should eBelgium merge with eNetherlands?
Monsieur Guillontine
Well, after writing my previous article, a lot of people commented on their opinion of the whole idea of merging with eNetherlands. Many also voted for the poll I created.
Should eBelgium merge with eNetherlands?
As you can see, the results are very close. From the many people who commented on my previous article, it seems that the majority of eBelgians are in favor of a merge with eNetherlands, but the only issue is whether or not eBelgium is the leader of the union. I believe that that is what might have caused some of the eBelgian citizens to vote "No".
Now that it is clear that a lot of people are actually in favor of a merge, I would like to question whether it is even likely that eNetherlands will be willing to merge with eBelgium, under the eBelgian flag. What do you think? Will they even agree to give up some of their independence to form this union between our two nations? Please tell me what you think.
Yours Truly,
Monsieur Guillontine

Actualy mony non belgian voted to your poll rendering it useless.
You should use the forum poll function next time where only Belgian citizens can vote (and maybe some other privileged foreigners).
Also, the eDutch won't agree to be under the Belgian banner and assimilating them to our community will threaten our sovereignty as the Dutch will be more unified in politics compared to our fragmented political parties.
I say we just take them in an Anschluss and dictate a merger they can live with.
I don't think that many dutchies are in favor of a merge 😉.
maybe they do want it but certainly not under belgian flag.
it's a useless poll imo. Anyone with a net proxy can balance the vote. Intal Tor => open tor=> vote=> chose "new identity" => vote again.
repeat x100 and you'll see why this poll isn't representative in any way.
Ask them 😉
2clicky opinion: only slightly possible when both communities get to know and appreciate each other more. These series of TWs might be such an opportunity. Might.
Cause you'll lose a serious part of the community in both countries with such a union. I think that's not worth it. Plus, it will be at the cost of a huge internal opposition, which doesn't make things easier as well.
It's a discussion that come back and forward the last years, and I'm afraid it's a useless one. I think the best option for both is to work to some kind of "neighbourshipagreement", in which those TWs could be fundamental. Advantages to all.
