Plato Foundation - Weekly Awards for the Best Aviators [EN/PT]

Dear Citizens of the New World,

Throughout my 9 years on eRepublik, I have wanted to create a project that would share part of my Fortune to the active Brazilian citizens. But until last year, when air battles were implemented in the game, I hadn’t decided what to do.

Then, in December of 2016, I decided to start the Weekly Awards for the Best Aviators, with the first awards being help on January 8, captivating, and improving Brazilians activity in Air Battles.

Up to this week, 24 editions of the Weekly Awards have been held, with more than 360.000 BRLs distributed. And we are one of the most popular community-engaging projects still working in eBrazil now.

We have managed to have more than 200 players actively fighting weekly, as you can see in the graph bellow, having a peak of 300 after the project was launched.





Since the Plato Foundation was announced, I decided to sign up the Best Aviators Awards in Brazil, as with this, I would be able to increase the Weekly Awards, thus encouraging even more Brazilian activity.

Weekly, I carry out the verification of every citizen, if they follow the rules:

• Have Brazilian citizenship
• Member of any Brazilian Military Unit

Being member of a Military Unit is required, as it’s the only way to get reliable in-game data of fighters.

If you fit both rules, you’re automatically allowed to participate in the Best Aviators Awards.

Currently, there’s awards for two players of each division, awarded in two categories: Greater Damage (Emperor Raphael I medal); Highest Number of Defeated Opponents (Prince Jonathan medal); thus, totaling up to 16 winners (8 in first place and 8 in second place).

In addition to the previously mentioned categories, there is also the Prince Tyrionn medal, intended to the 10 best players who have Squadron Leader *** (35) Aircraft Rank or below.

Thus, distributing 15.000 BRL as follows:

In addition to the three mentioned categories, which are open to all Brazilian players, we have also an exclusive modality for Imperial Guard Members, my own Military Unit.

The Awards for this category varies according to the damage inflicted by members, as follows:

100 BRLs - Up to 5,000 Damage
200 BRLs - From 5,001 to 10,000
300 BRLs - From 10,001 to 25,000
400 BRLs - From 25,001 to 50,000
500 BRLs - From 50,001 to 75,000
600 BRLs - From 75,001 to 100,000
700 BRLs – From 100,001 to 200,000
1,000 BRLs – Over 200,001

The first change to the Weekly Awards, in case Plato Grant is granted, is to increase the winners from 2 to 5 in each Division, and, if possible, double the overall winners from the current 10 participants to 20 per week. However, how big the change is going to be is completely reliant on the amount received as sponsorship.

Every Gold received is going to be exclusively destined to the Public Awards – the one that is given to members of any Brazilian Military Unit and have Brazilian Citizenship. Increasing the prize amount from the current 15k/week of my own wallet.

Prezados Cidadãos do eMundo,

Ao longo dos meus 9 anos, há um certo tempo eu quis criar um Projeto que distribuísse parte da minha Imensa Fortuna para os Cidadãos Brasileiros, mas até o ano passado, quando surgiu as batalhas aéreas e ficou disponível o ranking semanal, eu não havia decidido de que forma faria, então só fui acumulando patrimônio.

Então em Dezembro de 2016, eu resolvi iniciar a Premiação Semanal aos Melhores Aviadores, ocorrendo a primeira premiação no dia 8 de Janeiro, relativo a semana de 27 de Dezembro até 2 de Janeiro, para que dessa forma que pudesse incentivar os brasileiros a lutarem nas batalhas aéreas.

Até a presente semana foram realizadas 24 edições da Premiação, sendo distribuídos mais de 360.000 BRLs.

Conseguimos ter mais de 200 jogadores lutando ativamente semanalmente, como você pode ver no gráfico abaixo, tendo um pico de 300 após o lançamento do projeto.





Então, desde que foi anunciado a Fundação Plato, eu resolvi que inscreveria a Premiação aos Melhores Aviadores do Brasil, tendo em vista que duas Fundações (a Fundação Raphael I e a Fundação Plato) poderiam atender mais pessoas e assim incentivar ainda mais a atividade aérea brasileira.

Semanalmente, realizo a apuração dentre todos os aviadores que se enquadram nas seguintes regras:

• Ter Cidadania Brasileira
• Ser membro de Unidade Militar Brasileira

Ao se enquadrar nas duas regras, automaticamente o cidadão estará inscrito para participar da Premiação dos Melhores Aviadores do eBrasil.

Atualmente são premiados os dois melhores em cada divisão (terrestre) em duas modalidades: Maior Dano (Medalha Imperador Raphael I); Maior Número de Oponentes Derrotados (Medalha Príncipe Herdeiro Jonatas), totalizando, portanto, até 16 ganhadores (8 em primeiro lugar e 8 em segundo lugar).
Além das modalidades mencionadas, ainda existe a Medalha Príncipe Tyrionn, destinada aos 10 melhores jogadores que possuem patente igual ou inferior a Squadron Leader***.

Dessa forma, são distribuídos 15.000 BRLs, da seguinte Maneira:

Além das três categorias mencionadas, que são abertas a todos os jogadores que fazem parte do Brasil, existe ainda uma modalidade exclusiva para Membros da Guarda Imperial, minha própria Unidade Militar.

O valor para essa categoria varia conforme o Dano realizado pelos membros, recebendo, conforme abaixo:

100 BRLs – Até 5.000 de Dano
200 BRLs – De 5.001 até 10.000
300 BRLs – De 10.001 até 25.000
400 BRLs – De 25.001 até 50.000
500 BRLs – De 50.001 até 75.000
600 BRLs – De 75.001 até 100.000
700 BRLs – De 100.000 até 200.000
1.000 BRLs – Acima de 200.001

Caso o Patrocínio seja concedido, todo o valor será destinado exclusivamente para a Premiação, de forma que semanalmente sejam os 15.000 BRLs, da Fundação Raphael I e a quantia destinada da Fundação Plato.

Inicialmente, desejo ampliar de 2 para 5 vencedores em cada Divisão e se possível, dobrar os vencedores gerais, passando dos atuais 10 participantes por semana para 20 ganhadores. Contudo, o número final de ganhadores irá depender da verba que será recebida.

Todo gold recebido será destinado exclusivamente para a Premiação Pública – desconsiderando, portanto, a minha própria unidade militar, que continuará a ser integralmente pagos com meus recursos.
