Well sad to see you leave but can i ask why you think this? I know when you did run for new Era PP you only released a small paragraph that you said were ideas and would be built upon, but then you didn't release anything else.

I have said before Don doesn't choose the Party President, members do. I don't know anyone who has had a PM from Don asking them not to vote for somebody. But good luck at UKRP anyway 🙂

Why the need for such an article?

People move parties and MU's every day yet they don't need to post this in the media, it seems to me more like a bitch-hunt, sorry I mean a witch-hunt against one man, one man who doesn't even run NE despite what you wish to claim

Whoever is leading this hunt I personally would like to thank as I have seen more activity today in NE than ever before and I assure you that you are making NE the future of the eUK, thank you!

I would say so yes, Don and Sir Winston are taking a step back and concentrating on the MU side of things and we are already discussing a constitution for New Era, policy direction and getting the voice of all the membership heard, new officers to take us forward as well as quite a few other things : )

I hadn't realised that the party "of the new players" has had the same two old players as PP since September. Practice what you preach and you'll stop losing members.

Trouble is LLC your article comes within hours of yourself and a few others discussing on the forums whether to plant spies and take over New Era. I have no ''beef'' with you as you've always struck me as a genuinely pleasant scamp but the timing does seem a tad off considering Goku's screenshots.

Spys was planted along time ago and they both stood for PP and failed , there job was done they couldnt take over New Era so they both leave very public , you are FOOLING no one , a vote for this is a vote for cheating and underhand tactics.

They try to PTO New Era Fail, they try to Plant spy's and take over the Party Fail, they smear New Era Fail

We only get stronger don't you guys get it ? Keep it coming ! The good decent people will see over time the real best party for the UK.

James Scarlet and Ironfists disagreed with everything New Era did so I was always puzzled about why they were members. You need common ground to be in a party together. Nothing wrong with them leaving, it's natural that people choose parties they agree with - they just took too long to do it.

We went out of our way to make them feel welcome even giving them Congress spots and holding our tounges when they spoke against everything we belived in the odd article for months.

That they are both making drama articles about leaving a party they were not invovled with just goes to show that there is something fishy here, especially after they both had a couple of failed PP runs. You would also think that a New Era member would naturally go to UKPP or even PCP/OV next unless they don't actually belive in what we are about...

Goku when i first joined it was the party of the New player the party was still young and didn't know where it was going and had not yet established firm ideas.
I did also agree with thing that were said by the party and i would still recomend the party to other players , so no i didn't totaly disagree with NE/
But after reading this back i would say that i may have written more agressivlythan i was 1st intending.
I had 1 PP run, which i back out of for the position you mentioned and i would say sorry for not informing you that RL issuses had came up and that i would be spending time away, though not fully inactive.
But why woulld we naturaly move to the PCP, UKPP or the OV?

Which LLC are you referring to? Also if you can link me to the evidence of the proposed PTO of New Era, i'd love to see it - if nothing else, so I can ensure ESO is protected from such threats too.

Hugh is doing a good job of mediating, but one does wonder how long one person can stem the tide - Don, you say you have stepped back from politics, yet you are still using your MU, The British Army, as a way to get people into New Era. You are still inviting new players who have accepted your friend request to join the unit, and then message them about the MUs 'political wing' - this doesn't really seem like 'stepping back' to me.

I'm not quite sure why you'd say such a thing, or really, why you feel the need to step back. If what you do makes more people stay in the UK: great, dont stop doing it. Instead, it would be nice if you were more cordial with players, even those who you dont agree with. That is the point I made, and I would hope most others made, not that you should stop being involved in New Era.

If you could clear up whether you are breaking all ties 'politically' or you are still involved in the recruitment side of things, I think that would at least clear in my mind that the UK hasn't lost a good tool for retention.
