Greetings everyone,
Here's a brief analysis of the recent congress election, which nevertheless proved to be yet another controversial one, owing to the usual accusations and conduct of vote buying and, to some extent, multi voting. Nevertheless some PTOers successfully managed to infiltrate into congress this session.
Currently, there are 4 parties in eIndia with an overall membership of 295. Total 180 votes were polled in for the congress. Of which the winning candidates got 144 votes and the losing candidate got 36 votes (chhattis ka ankda). Total 84 candidates contested for the much coveted 40 seats in the Parliament.

The votes for the winning candidates were above the national average of 36. At the same time the votes for losing candidates were above the national average of 9. While the number of candidates contesting in the election were above the national average of 21, the number of seats won by the party was also above the national average of 10 and the seats lost was above the national average of 11. Thus the % of success was above the national average of 42.225%. Overall the % share of Yuuva in the congress is way above the national average of 25%.

Thus the % of success was considerably above the national average of 42.225%. Overall the % share of DPI in the congress is above the national average of 25%.

Thus the % of success was little higher than the national average of 42.225%. Overall the % share of IMP in the congress is below the national average of 25%.

Thus the % of success was considerably below the national average of 42.225%. Overall the % share of IWP in the congress is way below the national average of 25%.
