Mr Henry Gone, prima di tutto, grazie per aver accettato questa intervista.

D :

Ci parli un po' di lei. Di cosa si occupa in RL?

R :

Prima di tutto, grazie a voi per questa opportunità, sono davvero onorato per questo invito.
In realtà, non amo mischiare la RL con Erepublik.
Comunque posso dire che, in RL, il mio vero nome è Enrique, sono studente universitario in ingegneria informatica ed elettronica (Sì, sono un Nerd in RL).
Sono nato in America Latina, ma da genitori europei. E ho vissuto più della metà della mia vita in Europa.




D :

Ed adesso ci parli della sua esperienza in Erepublik. Ci faccia un riassunto dall'inizio ad oggi.

R :

La mia prima esperienza in Erepublik risale al lontano 2009, sempre come cittadino Cileno. Sono stato nel Congresso cileno molte volte. Poi mi sono dedicato agli affari esteri, ricoprendo due volte il ruolo di MOFA; nonché ambasciatore cileno in eBrasile e molti altri Paesi.
Sono stato Segretario alla Cultura e collaboratore dell'Accademia cilena della diplomazia, per qualche mese nel 2011.
Alla fine del 2011, ho concluso la mia prima esperienza nel gioco.

Henry Gone nasce il 30/01/2014, quindi circa un anno fa, in Cile.
Appena iscritto ricevetti un PM che mi invitava ad iscrivermi ad un Partito politico.
Dopo una veloce analisi di tutti gli altri Partiti, decisi di accettare l'invito.
Nel tempo sono stato spesso un congressista, arrivando ad essere il Capo del Congresso tra maggio e giugno. Poi sono stato per altri mesi nel gruppo direttivo anche se, in quel momento, non ero un congressista e non avevo nessun Partito politico cileno che mi appoggiava.
La mia esperienza in Erepublik, continua con il cambio di cittadinanza, quando ho deciso di trasferirmi in eIndia.








D :
adesso lei ricopre il ruolo di Ministro degli Affari Esteri dell'eIndia.
Ma nasce come cittadino cileno, ci può parlare del motivo che l'ha portata in eIndia?

R :

Era all'inizio di luglio 2014, quando Real Steel4 che si stava candidando a CP dell'eIndia, dietro raccomandazione di “ Laura Andreea”, mi chiese di diventare Ministro della Difesa. A quell'epoca non ero impegnato nella politica cilena ed era un'offerta che non potevo rifiutare.
Vincemmo le elezioni, e iniziò la mia avventura da MoD eIndiano.
Fu un mese meraviglioso, mi piacque molto lavorare in quella squadra di Governo.
Interagendo con la Community eIndiana, che mi accolse benissimo mettendomi a mio agio subito, nella mia nuova Nazione.
Dopo sono stato invitato spesso a prendere parte ai successivi Governi con Lord Bernin, Lord Krishna and Sibeesh.
E con questo mandato( dove ricopro il ruolo di MoD – MOFA) con la presidenza di Vijayakrishna, entro nel mio 6° mandato politico.E devo dire che l'esperienza, finora, è fantastica; con molte cose che sono accadute in eIndia e nell' e-World.
E' un impegno spesso difficile, a volte frustrante, ma di sicuro, nel complesso, molto entusiasmante.
Abbiamo dovuto affrontare guerre difficili nei nostri territori.
La squadra che si occupa degli affari esteri, si è focalizzata sul creare e consolidare i rapporti di “amicizia” con altre Nazioni e siamo sempre pronti e disponibili a schierarci al loro fianco nelle loro guerre; ed aiutarli in ogni modo, anche fosse lanciare un AirStrike se servisse.
Oggi, mi sento pienamente integrato nella Community eIndiana, siamo una piccola Community, ma molto unita.. una sorta di piccola “famiglia”.




D :

Molte alleanze sono scomparse in pochi giorni. Sembra che sia in atto un grande fermento, pronto ad esplodere. Con la nascita di nuove future alleanze.
Lei ha alle spalle una grande esperienza politica. Qual'è la sua opinione, a riguardo?
E l'eIndia sta valutando la situazione e state riflettendo su una possibile alleanza con altre Nazioni?



R :

La situazione attuale è parte del ciclo naturale delle Alleanze in Erepublik.
Vengono create, spariscono, ed altre rinascono. È sempre stato così e sempre sarà così.

Un'alleanza è come un puzzle, dove le Nazioni, gli eventi sono i pezzi; quando questi pezzi si incastrano uno nell'altro abbiamo un bel risultato.
D'altrocanto, quando i pezzi non si incastrano perfettamente, è meglio buttare tutto all'aria, rimescolare i pezzi e ripartire dall'inizio.
E quando il puzzle è finalmente finito, cosa facciamo?
Ci fermiamo ad ammirarlo per un po' ( pensando alle glorie passate); poi lo distruggiamo per ricominciare da capo o, a volte, ne iniziamo uno tutto nuovo.

Oggigiorno molte Nazioni, sembra, che cerchino maggior libertà di azione.
Cosa che non è sempre possibile se sei membro di un'alleanza perchè, in quel caso, devi fare ciò che è il bene per “tutti” e non solo per “te stesso”.
Spesso, questo porta ad una moltitudine di MPP incrociati che rende il gioco noioso.
Allora si può decidere di uscire dall'alleanza e cercare di avere maggior libertà di manovra.
Si può pensare che così facendo si resta soli e scoperti,ma non è sempre così.
Con un buon lavoro da parte di ambasciatori e squadra del MOFA, si possono comunque mantenere ottimi rapporti di “amicizia” anche se si decide di uscire dall'alleanza.







D :

Ci parli dell'eIndia.
Nel passato avete fatto parte di una qualche Alleanza?
Pensa sul serio, da MOFA, che far parte di un'alleanza sia così importante nella dinamica di Erepublik?
In questo momento l'eIndia deve fronteggiare una, o più, Nazione nemica?

R :

Le Alleanze, come detto, sono importanti, ma non essenziali.
Fare parte di un'alleanza è una bella esperienza perchè si lavora con coordinazione con altre Nazioni e si cerca di lavorare al meglio per tutti.
Per me, e per l'eIndia, l'amicizia è la cosa che davvero conta, e l'anteponiamo a qualsiasi altra cosa.
Nel recente passato l'eIndia non ha fatto parte di nessun'alleanza. Abbiamo provato qualche tempo fa ad entrare in AURORA, ed eravamo interessati anche all'alleanza sorella di AURORA, ma poi la cosa non è andata in porto.

Molti anni fa, eIndia è stata in EDEN e in LUNA ( come è descritto in wiki).

In futuro, con la comparsa di nuove alleanze, potremmo essere interessati ad entrare in una di esse.
Non posso affermare nulla di sicuro, oggi, se non che l'eIndia sarà sempre al fianco dei suoi “amici”.
Vedremo cosa accadrà nel panorama Internazionale di Erepublik, nei prossimi mesi.

Per adesso, l'eIndia vive un periodo di “pace”, senza veri nemici da combattere.
Alcune Nazioni occupano le nostre regioni interne, ma sono Nazioni amiche. Che controllano quei territori per difenderli, una di queste è la nostra storica “amica” eBulgaria.
Ovviamente, noi combattiamo duramente contro i nemici dei nostri amici.
Gli eIndiani sono sempre pronti e felici di combattere per i nostri amici ed alleati.

Q :

Talk us about yourself . Make a little description of your RL.

A :

First of all, I want to thank you for this opportunity, I’m glad you invited me for this interview.

Talking about my own RL is more difficult for me than talking about my eR life (actually, this was the last question I answered). I don’t like so much to mix both of them. Anyway, there’re some things that I can say about myself, that some people might already know. Unlike you can think my name is not Henry, it’s Enrique (yes, same name but in different languages). I’m at the university, I study integrated MSc in Electrical and Computers Engineering, so I’m kind of a geek. In RL I was born in a Latin American country, from an European family. And I have been living in Europe for more than half of my life.
And I think that’s more than enough info for now, maybe I can disclose more details, about both RL and eR, in the future. 




Q :

And now, Talk us of your E-life experience. Make a little description from the beginning.


A :

If you check my profile you can see that my eR birthday is at Jan 30, 2014, that’s when Henry Gone was born in eChile, almost a year ago. I was getting a fresh start, like many new players I got a PM inviting me to join a political party, after a quick analysis of other parties I decided to join them. Since that I’ve been in the Congress of eChile, I was Head of Congress in May-June, and I was in the directive board for another three months, even not being a congressman anymore or having real support of a political party in eChile.
My experience in eRepublik continues with me changing my citizenship for the first time in my whole history in this game. That’s was when I came to eIndia, and about what I talk in the next question.
Before, I’ve to go back in time until ends of the year of 2009, that’s when my experience in eRepublik really begins.
Like my current account, I was born in eChile too, I was in the congress several times. Even then I dedicated my time to the Foreign Affairs, I was eChile MoFA in two occasions, and I was known as the eternal Ambassador of eChile in eBrasil, I was ambassador in a few more countries too. Also, I was secretary of Culture once. And collaborated in the eChilean Academy of Diplomacy for some months in 2011.
With the end of the year 2011, I was declared eDead, and remained like that for a bit more than two years, when I reborn as Henry Gone.






Q :

Now you're eIndian's MOFA , but in the past you was an eChilenian citizen.
May you talk us of that experience and why you've decided to move in eIndia?

A :

It was at the beginning of July 2014, I found myself not being a congressman anymore, so I was free to embark in new adventures and projects in eR. That was when I received an invitation from eIndia, the candidate that was becoming Country President of eIndia, Real Steel 4, by recommendation of Laura Andreea, asked me to become his Minister of Defence, and I couldn’t refuse it. And there I was, moving to eIndia, changing my CS for the first time, and only yet, and with the victory in the elections, becoming MoD of eIndia.
That was a pretty good month, I liked working with whole government team and interacting with the eIndian community that welcomed me, and I felt very comfortable being at this, for me, new eCountry.
Later, I was asked again to be part of the gov’t, but this time as MoFA (or kind of a MoD/MoFA), of course that I gladly accepted it, and I continued as MoFA with the reelection of Lord Bernim. And also I’ve been working with following presidents of eIndia, Lord Krishna, Sibeesh and Vijay.
I’m now in my 6th month as MoFA and the experience have been amazing, with lots of things happening in eIndia and the eWorld. It’s a work that’s many times harder than it seems to be, and frustrating sometimes but very pleasant many others. We’ve had wars in our lands and outside our lands. Since eIndia’s Foreign Affairs are focused in friendship, we are always glad to fight alongside our friends, and helping them in every way that we can, even if that means sending an AirStrike.
Nowadays, I feel as part of the eIndian community, we are a small one, but very united, we’re all like a big family




Q :

Also if you're not so "old", you've a great experience on political side.

Many allinaces are disappeared in few day.
Seems like a great ferment is in act, ready to explode, with the creation of new alliances.
What are your opinions on the actual period of the e-world's alliances.
eIndia are looking for?

A :

This current situation is part of the natural cycle of the alliances in eRepublik, they disappear, reborn, new ones are created and then fall apart again. They always did and always will do.

Being in and keeping alive an alliance is like doing a puzzle, where each country, each event have its own pieces. While the pieces keep matching each others you get a nice picture, otherwise else, you’d better throw it all away and start again. And when the puzzle is finished, what do you do? Frame it to admire past glories or, Tear it apart and do it all again, or try a new one.

Nowadays, many countries seems to be looking for more freedom of actions, what is not always possible within an alliances, because you’ve to do what’s better for “everybody” and not just for your own. And when it start to happens the alliance turns on in simply a big stack of MPPs, that many times are useless.
Then, the best option might be to leave the alliance, and remain for your own, you may say alone but it’s not, because every country have friends, so they’ll stay with their true allies, those that doesn’t need an alliance to stick together, because their relationship is built in real friendship.




Q :

Talk us about eIndia.
In the past eIndia was in an alliance?
Do You think, as MOFA, that alliances are so important? or your idea is that, with a great diplomatic work, a Nation can count on the support and "Friendship" of some other Nation?

In this period You've some enemy Nation to fight?

A :

Alliances are important, but not the most, they only make sense while the countries into it can work as one.
For me, and for eIndia, Friendship is what really matters, and we put it above everything else.
In recent times, eIndia has not been in any alliance, even when, no so long ago, we wanted to become member of Aurora, and we’re interested in becoming part of the sister alliance of Aurora too, but it never was born.
In the past, long years ago, eIndia was a trial member of EDEN, and member of the alliance LUNA, as the wiki shows.
In the future, with the appearance of new alliances, we might be interested in joining one of them. I can’t say anything about it for sure right now, but that eIndia will always be beside his good friends. Let’s see what will happens in the international panorama of eR in the coming times.

Nowadays, in eIndia we’re living a peaceful time, with no enemies to fight, at least directly. We have some countries in ours core regions but they are friendly, the last one to join were our good friends of Bulgaria.
Despite that we keep fighting hard against the enemies of our friends. We, in eIndia, are always happy to fight for our allies and friends.
