Irish MU overview

Greetings, eIreland!
Especially young players and members of the Boot Camp.

This article is dealing with an overview of the Irish MUs. I hope it will help you to choose a MU that will suit you best after you graduate from the Boot Camp.

I asked all commanders to answer a few questions; unfortunately not all of them answered me. But I hope the article will still be interesting 😛
I’ll leave answers as they were written by commanders 😃

As you can see on egov4you currently there are 23 MUs in еIreland.


I’ll start with the biggest and most powerful MU of eIreland



Commander: The Psych0
Backgroun😛 Irish Army is the official State MU, it was founded to make peace between two sides in eIreland, to be neutral, to have one single goal and that is a stronger eIreland. Irish Army is the tool to unite all Irishmen under one flag, one MU, one avatar. IA is neutral from all politic BS, no matter who is in charge of it.
Requirements: love for eIreland
Supply: 9 q7's (hope to give more very soon)
Avatar: Flag of eIreland is their frame, emblem is from RL Irish Defence Forces
MU channel: Private one is #IA; Public one is #IrishArmy
Coordinated strikes: Every night from 13:00-14:00 eRep time

Commander: James Keiller
Backgroun😛 The Wild Geese (known as The Wild Geese) is a very casual MU formed by Malbekh and Yddub a couple of months ago who were a bit pissed off with the current MU structure in eIreland. Catering for D3 and D4 divisions, they rose rapidly to become the 2nd largest MU in terms of influence. The MU has no requirements of obligations from its members like communes, avatars or IRC chat. Just chill out and relax.
Requirements: Field Marshall+ in terms of rank an no assholes apart from Yddub
Supply: There is no supply as a lot of them are filthy gold buyers so the expectation is that members are adult enough to look after themselves.

MU channel: rizon #malcontents (but good luck in finding anyone there)
Coordinated strikes: They have uncoordinated strikes. However, when it's Ireland you'll never get a more committed MU than us, especially on damage



Commander: Castaneda
Backgroun😛 Libertad Ireland was founded around day 1290. Shortly before that eIreland was wiped. The original Libertad unit came from Greece to aid eIreland in battles. After that some of them stayed behind and became a part of the Irish community. When the majority had left an old Irish citizen Moomoohead who was a member of the original Greek unit formed Libertad-Ireland. Ireland was the 3rd Libertad unit to be formed. Now we have many units all over the eWorld.
Requirements: There are special requirements once you have the same beliefs. They only ask to respect other members.
Supply: Is possible for Mass hits. Also you can get weps from allies when they ask to help them.
Avatar: It’s the cover for a velvet revolver album (tibulus) (GnFnR's Man) And the word Libertad (freedom)
MU channel: #libertad. Also there is a forum.
Coordinated strikes: They used to have them nearly every day. But lately this has been reduced to at least once a week. The MU is working on making mass hits a priority for all unit at the minute. Members hope to have strikes a few times a week with an emphasis on fighting for those who need or ask for help instead of just hitting for a country willy nilly



Commander: The Death of Rats
Backgroun😛 The Irish Airborne Brigade was founded around a year and a half ago. The leadership of the IUP at the time made up of Brent Wyrick, the defunct citizen Loyen and The Death of Rats decided that the party needs a military arms for image reasons and also because they wanted to help Ireland militarily somehow. Bhane helped them by giving control of one of the 2 British PTOer units that existed in Eire at the time. The Death of Rats was chosen to see the organization and leadership of that new unit. They’ve been sailing under the same flag ever since.
Requirements: There are no special requirements except being active
Supply: The MU doesn’t have a commune or a constant supply chain. If someone asks for supplies The Death of Rats honors his request.
Avatar: Frame with rank and regiment marking
MU channel: Generally they use the old #IUP channel, but the MU is no longer the military branch of the IUP
Coordinated strikes: The MU has had coordinated strikes in the past



Commander: Bhane
Backgroun😛 Rollta Bais is inactive. It's mostly just a trophy of Bhane’s victory over the would-be PTOrs from so long ago. The details are here…
Requirements: Bhane lets people know about the MU if they accidently join without realizing it's inactive. They can stay for a few days to take care of DOs while they find a more permanent home in an active MU.
Supply: No
Avatar: No
MU channel: No
Coordinated strikes: Bhane fights for eIreland first if we are in any conflict. After that, he will fight for our allies in EDEN where he might be able to make a difference.



Commander: Viktor Kurgan
Backgroun😛 This Libertad is under rebooting...and currently is uploading cleric mode This is silent Libertad....before genocidal storm...from Heaven...

Commander: Bassy
Backgroun😛 Bassy founded Troid na hEireann early in the year because he had the gold and always wanted to be a commander since he was very successful in politics at one point. So far though he hasn't been able to recruit mainly due to lack of time and a crazy RL.
Requirements: No. Bassy will take any fighters looking for something new who want to help start something. He would love someone to help him recruit and lead his MU.
Supply: Not currently. However he has run communes and have the ability to supply members if needed
Avatar: A shield with Irelands flag and our MU's name
MU channel: Not currently. Bassy sends PMs if needed.
Coordinated strikes: No



Commander: Greeling
Backgroun😛 Mea Gloria Fides was founded by sawc not sure when it was founded but it is awesome
Requirements: Must be awesome
Supply: No you cant have anything its all mine
Avatar: Birthday suit
MU channel: #itsatrap
Coordinated strikes: Yes we have coordinated strikes up my butt

Backgroun😛 Executive Authority was founded just for fun
Requirements: No
Supply: Small food supply sometimes
Avatar: No
