Hi! Meet Silent Warrior, he is one of us
BastovanSurcinski
Got the chance to talk to Silent Warrior. Without too much talking, here's the interview.
BastovanSurcinski:
Hello, Silent Warrior! I'm glad you agreed to do this interview with me. Can you tell us a bit about yourself, where are you from, how old are you, some pictures of where you live, or whatever you may think of?
Silent Warrior:
I was born in 1981. I'm financial analyst with Master Degree on Lincoln university, Oakland. I have changed a lot of jobs: stockbroker on Belgrade Stock Exchange, Financial analyst in Packaging factory, Head of Risk department in Bank to Financial analyst in mining company where I'm working now. During college days, I was also DJ on radio station.
My residence is in Belgrade
(clip with excellent pictures of Belgrade and, according to my musical taste, excellent song: Una Mattina by Ludovico Einaudi, violin remix)
..or more precisely: Banovo Brdo
Banovo Brdo is almost city in the city, separated from center of Belgrade and between Ada Ciganlija ('Belgrade sea')
and Kosutnjak forest
Japanese park in Topcider (Topcider and Kosutnjak are parts of the same forest)
So, that mixture of nature and urban makes special my part of the city. I like to spend my free time in nature and I'm often in Kosutnjak.
BastovanSurcinski:
Tell us about your personal interests: music, sports, books, whatever you might like.
Silent Warrior:
Last few years most of my free time I like to spend in nature (see answer on first question: Kosutnjak)
I like mystery and crime books, and first two writers that comes on my mind are Lee Child and Dan Brown. I prefer books over movies made from that books. Generally, rarely I watch movies, I'm more TV series guy. Green Mile and Escape from Shawshank are my first two associations on good movies. My type of TV series: House of Cards, Homeland, Zero Hour, and similar. I like to watch Italian series, also. My favorites are: Il Capo dei Capi and Squadra Antimafia.
About sports: when I was younger my main sport was football (soccer), but now I most watch basketball (Red Star, my club
🙂), and NFL (Packers and Seahawks).
Music, hmm.. I was radio DJ in my young days, so my music opus is very wide. Almost all, except extreme sounds (hard electronica, hard metal or turbo folk).
According to that that I do not have favorite genre of music, these are 3 different songs that I like:
Ed Alleyne-Johnson - Oxford Suite
City - Am Fenster
..and
Niconé & Sascha Braemer - Caje ft. Narra
I cannot say that this is my all time favorite house song, but I gave you link of this song because it have some Balkan sounds elements, and my favorite oldtimer Nissan/Datsun (that white square shaped car
🙂)
BastovanSurcisnki:
What made you come to eJapan? Which moments do you hold dear in eJapan, and why are you still here?
Silent Warrior:
My friends called me to come in eJapan, and because in that time I was not a fighter (low strength), and political situation in eSerbia was messy, I decided to accept their call. Beside of that, I always respected RL Japan and the way how Japan was helping my RL country: other countries always wanted something in return for the help; Japan not.
Everything nice that holds me still in this game happened to me in eJapan; some less nice moments I will not mention because it is really not important. Why? I am realistic: there is no totally ideal place in this world (or eWorld), and I'm 'glass is half full', not 'glass is half empty' person.
I'm still here because I am the part of the group that achieved something big for mid-sized eCountry (stability, consistency, international respect), and I will stay here as long as I will play this game.
BastovanSurcinski:
Silent Warrior, is there anything else that you would like to add that I haven't asked?
Silent Warrior:
First to apologize to You for waiting so long for my answers. I was busy in RL and in eRep. It was very interesting month in foreign relations in eRepublik.
I would add only my message to all players to differentiate real life from eRepunlik. eRep is totally different thing from real life, as much as admins advertise this game: ''simulation of real life''. Work here is not RL work; battles are not RL wars, elections are joke comparing to RL elections. Wars in RL are something worst can happen: here that is essential part of this game and main fun is on battlefield.
Maybe almost 10 years before now, when eRep started, admins could better control multi accounts: today is not possible. And that is why elections here are joke for me. Also, in RL you must have at least 18yr to can vote and be electe
😛here someone after 10 days of playing can do that. And she/he cannot understand nothing about this game after 10 days of playing.
Ofc that I am for democracy in real life, but this is not real life as I said. Just a simple game: place where we can find new friends across the whole world and spend some free time in pleasant virtual environment.
That is all from me. Greetings to all of you who spent few minutes to read this
🙂
Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Until next time!
Cheers!

Ah, stockbroker and financial worker. Very Interesting. Respect to you, sir! o7
Thank you 🙂
..and is still odd to me when someone call me 'sir' 😉
Nice to meet you 🙂
I think I have found some new music choices - thanks.
I'm always glad when I find way to promote some rare songs to the wider audience. That is main reason why I was radio DJ in the past 🙂
Great read. I could feel the silent (warrior) sadness in your words about the possibilities this game could be, and you are right. Erep could be so much more that it is. Yet, it's just a game from the RL, thus it is as shitty as RL. So sorry I am a bit very drunk.,
PLEASE explain what does your name mean and where does it come from. I remember reading something on a profile, but was it yours?
My nick is inspired by this song: http://tinyurl.com/kqkej56
I was listening Enigma album when I was opening profile, and this song is one of my favorites from Enigma.
You can see here lyrics of this song:

..and in the comments below meaning of lyrics 🙂
Voted, great article 🙂
