Ez a képregény egy poszt-apokaliptikus, sugárfertőzött, mutáns állatokkal teli világban játszódik.
Ennek a világnak egy névtelen és teljesen szétrombolt nagyvárosában három hadsereg vívja csatáját – a Vörösek, Sárgák és Kékek. Történetünk a Vörösek két katonájának sorsát követi, akik különféle furcsa, kicsit morbid kalandokba keverednek. Vigyázat, fekete humor!

A képregény szerzője a finn Kimmo Lemetti. Az ő engedélyével készítjük az eredetileg angol képregény magyar változatát. "Gone with the Blastwave is not a very serious comic. It is not being made very seriously, so you shouldn't try to take it, or my writings, too seriously.

The comic is still being continued, but shouldn't be considered active. I make a new page sometimes.

For the world of Blastwave I stole things from many post-apocalyptic and/or war movies, games, things. But nothing is a straight rip. Think of it as a somekind of a parody to those things. I'm in no way even trying to be original, the goal was to have a really generic post-apocalyptic setting." - Kimmo Lemetti
