Dear readers,
two days ago, I was chatting in the #eUNL server, when i picked something up about a plan. this was not a plan coming from the government, but it would be an individual action.
Garmr has the plan to offer Hungary 100000 NLG to attack belgium, and to possibly give the Netherlands all of its regions back
I've talked with him about this, see here the conversation:
You said that you have made an offer to hungary to liberate our country and to attack the state of belgium, can you further explain this?
No, I just made an offer to Hungary to invade Belgium, not to liberate Netherlands per se. I saw Belgian people invade the article of one of our CP contestants and I think that is in poor taste. Especially since Belgium has had some form of civil war or the other for years now. So they should fuck off and if they dont they get taught a lesson by force
and what about the dutch regions, have you talked with the hungarians about that?
Not really, If they like Belgian chocolate I can pay them more to stay there and release NL regions I guess but that was not my intention here.
It depends, if eNL declares an official holiday on Garmr day I could probably buy freedom for the miserable hoi polloi

what is you personal opinion about hungary?
They're nice people, they understand the game and don't have much drama
and what do you think about their occupation of the netherlands then?
I carefully picked regions they wouldnt need, so their idea of having an outpost in NL which can only be justified through an attack on the UK, who have insane tons of money to set on CO's, is a bit annoying for me as I had not expected this choice for them. It's not optimal for Hungary and obviously not chill for NL, so I do hope they will pull out on the short-medium term.

Can you explain yourself a bit better?
Well we admit to rolling over to Hungary as soon as they invade to allow them setup a outpost to attack the UK. The only way we aren't betraying them is if we have been in contact with them the entire time setting up a plan to counter Hungary. The most recent treaty appears to discount that, but I could be wrong.

I'm not reading anything about enabling them to have an outpost to attack the UK.
It's just that they seemingly want an outpost here, and we are not in a position to stop them. If the UK wants to get them out of the neighbourhood, they'd need to help us.

Belgium typically wants to be wiped during each congress elections for PTO suppression. So I guess this airstrike has Belgian support. And honestly, I definitely understand that Belgium rather has a country like Montenegro take their regions than a giant like Hungary who clearly wants an outpost in the region.
Interesting, but I don't think it needs to be that expensive.
