Join the new world

Hello, all!

GameChanger here, using my own paper for the first time in ages.

As the title might suggest, I am running for PP of 1V! Below I will detail how I hope to go about my job, and what I see 1V doing next month.

First, I would like to introduce myself. I was brought to One Vision a few months ago by Joshua Whelan. I found a warm and welcoming community who were willing to listen to new ideas. Now, after learning more and more about politics, I feel ready to take on the role of PP. I am a current congressman, a current member of cabinet, and a former MoHA. I think I have the perfect balance of the common touch and experience in the field to help One Vision reach even greater prominence!

#1: Improving Activity

While we had a higher voting rate than UKPP or TUP the last congress elections, I would like to see our members be a little more active, both in voting and in general life. Our leadership has drawn up a couple of plans to do this, including changes to the commune system and MU.



#2: Bettering Our Relations With Other Parties

I have felt that our party needs to be both more neutral and more open to other’s ideas. The two parties I feel we should have strong relations with are UKPP and ESO. Both are fairly moderate parties on either side of the political divide. Having good relations with them will both help our reputation as a neutral party and make it easier to open dialogues with other parties as well.



#3: Growing The Party

Another issue I see at the moment is that our membership is mostly stagnating, while others, like UKRP and ESO, are growing, We need to change the way we recruit, and just recruit more in general. Publishing articles detailing our party, our positions, and our benefits is a good way to start. Along with some other 1V members, we have started a party fund that will go towards funding things such as lotteries and competitions.



#4: Influential Congressmen

This is an idea I came up with myself. Often, congressmen just take their 5 gold and run, never to be seen again in any discussions or debates. While I strongly support having new players take on the role, I feel having active, strong congressmen will go a long way towards earning One Vision respect and recognition. If we can take a lead in discussions over taxes and MU’s, it will help both us and the country as a whole.



I think I’ve bored you enough! At any rate, this has been my PP manifesto. I hope you agree with my ideas, and I implore you to get out and vote on the 15th. Even if you don’t vote for me, I feel that everyone should take part in the democratic process.
