What a great PotUS Election we had yesterday, it's been quite a while since we had that kind of activity and I want to personally apologize to everyone for not doing my job in the DoE and promptly updating the Race4POTUS as I should have, I take full responsibility and blame. Anyway back to the important topics, congratulations to the new PotUS ...




For us in the Federalist Party we have been pretty lucky because we have been a part of the government in one form or another for quite awhile and although we had a break during Oblige's term, Deepchill has reconnected with us once again and now we have a strong showing in this months government ...

Just to name a few we have the following:

Molly Emma as Chief of Staff
Kevin Sheridan as Secretary of State
Tyler Bubblar as Deputy Secretary of State
Dave Gulya as Deputy Secretary of State
MaynardJ as an Ambassador
Ace Viper as Deputy Secretary of Education
Paul Proteus as Homeland Deputy
Viky KC ( formerly known as Mazzy_Cat ) as an Advisor

Talk about Fed dream team, although we have taken a large hit by these members becoming Government officials myself and everyone in the Leadership knows it is just the perfect opportunity for those looking to get a great fed jerb! This will force us to increase our depth of active Party Members and that will only make us into a better party.

Now with that being said there are still a few people who I know are not going national by choice and that would include people like Nick.Bergman, Slybabymichele, Orikifica, dk3dknight, Elisand_Wood and myself who are a great backbone to keep us strong as ever! Talk about a tight race, although the numbers look like a wide margin, if you look into the past and delve deeply into it you will see that this was one of the tightest races we have had for a while. There was under 100 votes between the top two candidates, which says alot compared to prior races. The endorsements were flying like no other and for the first time in a while we actually had all top 5 articles in the 300+ votes range!

Deepchill pretty much lead the entire day and in the end it was still up in the air as it only took one party to make a major shift for Deepchill to have lost. In the end Deepchill won and personally I was excited about it. I have spoken with Trekker about him as I was not to knowledgeable in him other then his rise through the EZC and during his tenure as the Commanding Officer. I can't wait to see what happens in the coming month as I am quite sure it will be a nice change of pace from former Presidents and activity will finally begin a huge upward swing!



Now that we have the congratulations out and given you a bit more information on the new PotUS; Deepchill, let's get down to party business. Tonight at 1800 CST the nominations thread will be open for those looking to become the next Federalist Party President to get a chance to campaign. It will be open for 96 hours which is the Wednesday 10th. For those looking to get nominated remember you must have 5 noms for you to be an official candidate so get out there and make it known.
