eUK Forums - 10,000 members strong
ePocalypse
That’s right, the eUK forums now have over 10,000 members.
Before anyone points out the obvious, of course a large number of these people no longer play the game. That doesn’t change the fact that it’s a busy community. Many nations would love to have a forum as active and established as ours here in the UK. We as a nation encourage discussion and debate and our forum is a fine example of how much importance we place in that.
The current eUK forums have been around since December 2008. They are hosted and paid for by kumnaa and the domain is owned by Nelsaidi. These are also the guys who sort out any technical problems, do any software updates and have the overall final say regarding anything forum related.
Here’s the basic stats:
Let’s compare this with some of the other eRepublik forums:
eUSA
France
Canada
Brazil
Belgium
And those are just some of the well known forums. As you can see, for a country our size, we sure do have activity! Here’s a quick look at just some of the things you can find on eUK forums:
Presidential Announcements
Our Presidents like to keep players informed
General
Our general discussion forum alone is bigger than most other eRepublik forums
Public Discussion
That’s a LOT of discussion
Party Forums
Most major parties in eUK have their own section on eUK forums – request access to yours from the Access requests section
Bob Boblo’s House
A longstanding spam friendly forum. Considering it’s set to auto-prune, there are still a lot of posts in here
It’s often said that people keep playing eRepublik because of the people they meet and the communities they become a part of. That’s certainly true for many people on UK forums. We even have players posting on our forum who long since gave up the game but stick around to talk to the friends they have made.
I’d advise anyone who wants to enhance their game experience to join the forums and if you’re a member of a party, ensure you sign up to their sub-forums. By getting more involved in discussion and interacting with people, you’ll soon find opportunities within parties and government whilst also forging lasting friendships.
Thanks to our forum members for your continued contributions and for making the eUK forums a great community. And here’s to the next 10,000 members!
We even outrank the game in a google search

Forums > game says google
Nice, if only we had 10,000 active eUK citizens as well...
yet only the same 30-40 posters...
Graph of people online per day and one of new members per day?
Goku & Wayen: Perhaps if a lot of in-game campaigning hadn't been done negatively affecting potential users' opinions then there wouldn't be a temporary lull in forum activity in a time when they could've been more effectively utilised, as proven, to be extremely useful towards establishing long-term ties between people and bonding our community further.
A lot of the negativity is truly unwarranted and especially now, with a hippy like me on moderation, will surely be even more inaccurate.
Wayne, sorry* (I must be tired!)
Yay lots of posts from Keers and Invalidation which they posted back in 2009. What an interesting read....
Invalidation wasn't a member of the game back in 2009, nor in 2010 ^___^
Nice milestone indeed
Congratz'. But according to your numbers, here are the average numbers of posts per member :
eBrazil : 50
eCanada : 52
eUSA : 59
eUK : 83
eFrance : 141
eBelgium : 167
Anyway, numbers don't say if the posts are really interesting.
Forum was pretty inactive BEFORE I came back.
when you talk about 2009, it's B.C or A.D. ?
Well if you remove the fluff the stuff repeated in-game and the CS applications then there's only 2 threads of any note this month.
CS law - It's RP and didn't actually address the points the UKPP made so aside from a visit by Wayne its of little to no intrest to the UKPPers.
Irish swap - UKPP has little intrest in trading UK land, that has to be constantly enforced for a minimal gain to a production item that everyone is giving away for nothing. So again of little intrest.
We don't force members to not use the forum as we simply can't (the same way your RP laws can stop them pressing any buttahns they have).
We don't tell them the forums are a waste of time, that its run by an 'ebil cabal bent on domination of the stellar empire' or that it has no relevance to their eLife. By the same token we don't promote it.
UKPPers are free to choose their method of social communication and it will not effect their standing in the game when it comes to UKPP matters.
So, because the only governmental/congress discussions happening on the forums at the moment aren't interesting to you (when more would simply be "blah blah RP") you ignore an avenue to establish a wider community than your party provides, the national community, and therefore are solely focused on party politics instead of advancing the nation's progress together?
I'm glad you don't encourage/discourage people, but this "being a hermit" is why people don't like you. Social interaction rocks
Social interaction DOES rock!
Having the same old discussions and arguments about the minutae of eLife does not.
This is also why you don't see any poo-flinging articles from us in the media (even in response to those flinging, smearing and lying from the other side)
You (the 'established community') complain when there's drama, you complain that we are personnaly attacking you if we disagree, you complain when we therefore refrain from it all....What exactly do you want us to do?
disagree ? refrain any disagreement!!! UNITY!
