Country Top Tens #3

Day 2,206, 22:58 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by The Equalist

Here is the third installment of the weekly Country Top Tens series.

Serbia moves to first and gaining empire status for the first time. Hungary remains an empire with only slight losses from last week. The biggest change is the rise of Turkey, which correlates with the fall of Slovenia. Considering there are still big swings in some countries suggests that the introduction of determination and freedom fighter medals last month still are impacting country power. However, this week was overall more stable than last week, as expected. Latin American countries continue to hold onto their power points, despite decreasing populations, as mentioned below.

The decline of Latin America continues. If anything, the population decline of countries in that region is accelerating. This week, two Latin American countries who were in last week's top ten have fallen off (Mexico ranked #12 and Colombia ranked #15). There also appears to be a rise in population in the Balkins. With Serbia solidifying its position as #1, it will be interesting to see if these countries further increase their rank in Country Power.
