I'm announcing my candidacy for Congress in Newfoundland and Labrador.

I had an eye opening experience during my last tenure in Congress. Unexpectedly elected in the December elections, I was truly shocked with the level of apathy and entitlement in Congress.

Congress members elected and resigning the same day, time wasted creating tl;dr legeslation, months long debate over how to "return" over taxation by the government back to the citizens, haggling over Military Unit funding. Excess, waste, corruption.

I'd like to pledge that voting for me will magically fix these problems, but that would be unrealistic. What I do pledge is to work at being part of the solution. I pledge transparency and engagement.

As the congressional elections approach, you would do well to consider voting Connor MacLeod or your local MDP candidate. Together the MDP can effect change in eCanada. The MDP believes in strong, efficient, effective government. The MDP pledges transparency. You will always know where we stand on issues.

When you get ready to vote on the 25th, vote for efficiency and effectiveness. Vote for transparency.
