Join the new world

Well, today is the first day of congress, for the February - March 2012 term, and after reading through the forums, and some articles, it seems to me that it is wanted to move to a more transparent congress and government. That said, I will be trying to write an article about what is happening in congress, at least every 2 days.

So onto what's been happening today.

As congress begins to get settled in, you can't help but notice there are many new faces in congress, and many well known and experienced faces as well.

On the Forum: (Which can be found here)

1) Already we have begun to pile up some nominees for the next speaker of congress. If you are a member of congress get on the forums and watch for the voting to start, probably within the next day or 2.

In-Game Proposals:

1) NE Ireland - this vote was put up by our friend who has bribed his way into congress. He is a foreign PTOer, and is trying cause havoc in congress and in Canada. Most of congress has voted NO to this proposal

2) Donate - this is just your normal $99,999 CAD donation to the Canadian Ministry of Finance to fund your Military Units, who in turn supply you to fight to your very best.

Other:

1) this is the biggest thing that is happening today for congress. As proposed in this article, there is discussion going on about raising import taxes from what they are now, to 99% on WRM, to make a protected market. For more information, please read the article, and let your voice be heard, comment on that article, comment on this article, or send a congressman/congresswoman a private message telling them how you fell about this.
