Christmas came early (for pro-ONE countries)

Day 1,483, 15:24 Published in Romania Australia by Nerx
The Order of the New EWorld (known simply as ONE)

They were 4 states at first, 2 joining few weeks later, creating an alliance of 6 (3 ex-EDEN, 3 ex-Phoenix) European countries. Being opportunists and taking advantage of their comparable population number and several changes in the game mechanics, ONE went on rampage, erasing countries after countries. All in all, they (most of them) think they achieved everything in this game (let’s not argue about technicalities).

It’s been a month since Indonesia was invited to join the Order of New EWorld (known as ONE), becoming the 7th core member of the alliance. Surprisingly, ONE always endorsed their status of an alliance consisting of a few, yet powerful states, thus making cooperation a lot easier.

However, in the past two days, 3 (three) new (pro-ONE obviously) countries joined. I’m not sure if ONE HQ planned this, or it took some last moment decisions. It doesn’t really matter - for me anyways. Slovenia and Iran were (or thought they were) candidates for joining NWO (ONE) since its creations, before Sweden of FYR Macedonia were asked to be a part of it.

The interesting move was proposing the UK to join (the only e-country to be part of most major alliances in the game: Atlantis, then they switched to PEACE GC, Phoenix and later ONE), before Iran, Slovenia or even Turkey.
This seems kind of illogical, but I’m sure there are good reasons for this, since the HQ is constituted of capable/rational individuals.
But what was the real issue here? For asking so many countries to join in such a short amount of time? Loyalty? There is no such thing as loyalty when you’re on the winning side. That’s a proven fact. And why weren’t there official statements from the ONE HQ?

Will ONE dissolve itself? What about the other pro-ONE countries? Will they be allowed to join the global alliance that ONE has become? There are rumors that the votes for inviting a country to join do not need to be unanimously anymore. Which countries will have priority? Poland and/or Serbia (the most powerful) as the ONE SG (i.e. Iain Keers) stated in one of his official articles? Sacrificing the weak for the greater good of the alliance? Or is it ONE that confident that they can spare their surplus of damage for all its members?

The fun begins now.
