CTW - I4 - May 28th, 2012

This issue will be fairly short since if you are subscribed to my paper you know how busy I have been lately with the EZC War Games (publishing lengthy articles almost daily over the course of the competition). So this week will be a fairly short version, next week will be back to the normal novel length. Oh and thanks to all my subscribers, I just hit 100 subscribers!!

One quick headline which I'm sure will have many eAmericans rejoicing with joy, General Cartman Lee has been permanently banned!! Again!! I am not a veteran of the game but I think it's his third time being banned probably for having and using multiple accounts again. Whatever the reason, time to celebrate a little bit, cause we all know he will be back under some random name trying to convince younger players that we are bullying him. When in reality we are just putting the facts out there and letting people make the decision about him on their own and at the end of the day his following is not that big or powerful even though he seems to try harder than anyone else in this game.


Things have been kind of calm lately, prices continue to drop . . . as usual, it seems it might be months till the admins realize the damage they are doing to the game before they do something to fix the current economic crisis we are in.

As for what's been happening around the globe, Columbia made a push into Mexico, before the Mexicans decided to wake up and fight back for their territory recently. Hungary continued its push into France until they pushed far enough to get a border with eUSA, then all hell broke loose as eUSA walked all over eHungary. Many people were looking forward to this fight after the eUS vs. ePOL war kind of fizzled out, but this current battle with eHUN seems more like beating a dead horse than a real battle between two fairly equally matched competitors.

Oh, and if you have been paying attention to the map at all you will have noticed China moving way up into Europe recently. They started off moving into South America, though it seems that was a stepping stone for them as they continued on up into southern Spain. They are currently pushing well into Spain and it looks like they may extend into Italy to hit the serbs currently taking up most of the Italian boot.


The recent congressional elections went as many people thought they would, some parties gaining a couple setas, other parties losing some seats and for the most part PTOers not really making it to the ballot. Good work eUS citizens, I would add more analysis here but I haven’t really done much looking at what all happened (blame the War Games for that) but we are already looking forward to next month's presidential elections.

Ever wondered why your dog sometimes eats grass for no apparent reason? Well there is a reason and the reason will make your dog seem smarter than you think. For starters it's not necessarily a bad thing as dogs for thousands of years have been very opportunistic eaters getting their daily nutrition from anything they think will help them (ever had your dog chew up a stuffed animal or a shoe?) and grass does have some nutritional value, so that may be the reason.

The other reason dogs eat grass is to help them with an upset stomach, sort of the same way we take some Pepto Bismal, dogs eat grass! It’s thought that the texture of the grass scratching against the esophagus and the lining of the stomach causes discomfort which causes the dog to throw up releasing the contents in the dog's stomach that are making the dog feel uncomfortable. If your dog doesn’t look that good and goes outside and starts gulping down grass, you can expect that your dog has a sick stomach and is trying to fix the problem on their own. Perhaps look at what they just ate recently (if you gave them some table scraps or a new treat) and remember not to feed that to them again.

Then again, some dogs are just weird and like to chew random things and may like the texture and taste of grass. Either way, if your dog chews on some grass, it’s not really that bad and can actually be helpful to your dog.

Can you imagine paratrooping cats, they wouldn’t even need parachutes cause they always land on their feet! And soldier cats would be awesome with their 9 lives!
