Greetings everyone,
Here's a brief analysis of the recent congress election, which nevertheless proved to be a little controversial one owing to accusations of Multi Voting and a looming PTO threat. But then, braver is the being who overcomes his desires than the one who conquers his enemies; for the hardest victory is over self.
Currently, there are 4 parties in eIndia with an overall membership of 456. Total 235 votes were polled in for the congress. Of which the winning candidates got 173 votes and the losing candidate got 62 votes. Total 112 candidates contested for the much coveted 40 seats in the Parliament.


Indian Workers Party
Total Members: 152 (Ranked 1)

Performance Analysis: While the total number of Party members are above the national average 114, the total votes polled in was below the national average of 58.75. The votes for the winning candidates were way below the national average of 43.5, at the same time the votes for losing candidates were above the national average of 15.5. While the number of candidates contesting for the election were less than the national average of 28, the number of seats won by the party was below the national average of 10 and the seats lost was above the national average of 18. Thus the % of success was considerably below the national average of 34.17%. Overall the % share of IWP in the congress is way below the national average of 25%.

The votes for the winning candidates were way above the national average of 43.5, at the same time the votes for losing candidates were also above the national average of 15.5. While the number of candidates contesting for the election were more than the national average of 28, the number of seats won by the party was above the national average of 10 and the seats lost was below the national average of 18. Thus the % of success was higher than the national average of 34.17%. Overall the % share of Yuuva in the congress is the highest and above the national average of 25%.
