Another Leaf Falls

Day 1,911, 20:18 Published in Ireland USA by Raven Anarcho

As proposals are refused throughout the eWorld, another leaf falls from the tree of EDEN. Another alliance however, gains a new member.

ANOTHER LEAF FALLS

The president of Portugal has released an article stating that Portugal will finally leave EDEN. They have recently renewed relations with China and other EDEN nations, and many citizens have been outspoken since in their support and loyalty to EDEN. It is likely the nation will remain pro-EDEN while attempting to open a few more relations. Spain had previously offered Portugal a chance to get a few territories back should it leave EDEN, change MPPs and no longer support wars against Spain, however it appears Portugal is not interested in the agreement.

YOU MUST BE JOKING?

Uruguay has recently denounced a peace proposal from Brazil. The Brazilian government claims that the public in Uruguay has gone as far as to mock their attempt at neutrality. What was the proposal? Give up your EDEN relations, and we’ll give you back a territory. Needless to say, the deal was denied.

BACK ON THE MAP

Norway has recovered its first region in an uphill battle against the UK. Since Poland began its invasion of Asgard, Norway has had quite the time fending off the eBritish. On the 11th of February, Norway also made its official move into Asgard, stating that in no way will the nation have bad relations with its former EDEN members.

MY CURRENT MISSION

After fighting for Norway, I am still waiting to hear when Canada plans its mass resistance against Spain. I also await our government’s decision as to who we will open relations with regarding our next MPP.

LEGEND OF THE MONTH

Jon Riley

Born in Ireland, he moved to the US to escape poor living conditions and joined the US military. During the war in Mexico, he became upset with many of the innocent women and children being killed. Feeling sympathy for his fellow Catholics, he led the “Saint Patricks Battalion” and turned on the US to fight for Mexico. The militia consisted of former slaves and Irishmen who were discriminated against in the US military. After the war, many were executed. Jon Riley was not sentenced to death, but branded on the face, as a traitor. To this day, on September 12th the town of Clifden, Ireland raises the Mexican flag to honor his name.
