An Introduction: Who is the Hellfire Witch?

Day 5,441, 22:41 Published in Japan Japan by The Hellfire Witch
Greetings and salutations to eJapan and all eJapanese.

The Introduction

Being new to eRepublik, I have kept quiet and tried to learn the game and its mechanics by trial and error and the various news articles. During my time here, I have learned that the community that plays this game, especially in eJapan, is small and tightly knit. I have also learned that in order to enjoy this game to the fullest you must invest in the people and relationships that come from this game. In order to enjoy this game to its fullest, you should put yourself out there and meet the inhabitants of this long and storied game.

So introductions are in order, yes?

Who am I?

I am the Hellfire Witch and you can call me Hellfire or the Witch! I found eRepublik while browsing the internet for a political simulation type of game, having grown bored of most of the other games I partake in. I wanted something with politics (obviously) but also wanted something that I could take on the go with me since I work so often. This seemed like the perfect fit so I did a little research and joined up.

Some of the things I enjoy are tea, reading, geeking out about fantasy worlds (like ASoIaF), political simulations, gaming, spending time with my pup that is named after Emiya Shirou (Shiro), and anime/manga.

Why eJapan?

Some may ask why I chose eJapan. Some may assume that I joined because anime/manga, but the real reason is the small, close-knit community and my time spent in Japan in the real world.

The community seems friendly and I received several messages encouraging me to reach out if I needed help learning the game or just wanted to talk. Small, but dedicated is what has drawn me towards this place.

My time in Japan has also taught me a great deal about the country and I consider it a second home, visiting as often as possible (though not in some time due to the real world stuff). I have friends and people I consider family living there to this day and my love for the country, its culture, and its people grows with every minute I spend there.

What's happened so far?

So far, I have made it to citizen level 20, which is a low number considering some of the veteran players I've seen (spooky). I've trained and worked every day whilst learning the political climate. I started a newspaper and joined a political party that has an endearing message that supports the community mindset of keeping this fun and close knit.

The one thing I've yet to do and the thing I'm trying to do with this article, is to meet all of you! So leave a comment or feel free to message me! I want to know and meet all of the people in this community that fight to keep this a fun and friendly place after all the years this game has seen.

Let's all have some fun!
