Hello friends and foes,

My team Altay (also known as Büyük Altay or Great Altay), which is the largest and best club in Izmir, has promoted back to Super League (top tier of Turkish pyramid) after 18 years of absence.

During this time we almost relegated to the Amateur divisions, but we came back after years in fourth, third and second tiers to contest the Turkish championship again. Many teams defaulted and had to either buy new teams to replace their old sunken teams, or collapsed entirely, but we came back as the same team with our dignity.

The man who led us to this championship, our coach Mustafa Denizli (also known as Büyük Mustafa or Great Mustafa), is a product of our youth system, played 18 seasons for us while captaining the team and becoming the top goalscorer of our club for its history, winning a Turkish Cup along the way. He coached 3 Istanbul teams, winning Turkish Super League with all, and he coached various clubs in Turkey and abroad incl. Turkish National Team, before coming to his last stop at his home club Altay.

For the honor of this championship, I will be giving 1914 cc to everyone who adds me as a friend, votes the article and shouts the text below.
