1000

Day 3,916, 07:20 Published in India India by Murthu

I have this weird obsessions with rounded numbers. If you go back, most of my articles are about them. But I almost missed this one if not for Spain's Ultimate Defender. It was actually apt, he is my fellow D2 fighter in our respective sides of our TW.

I present to you.. the achievement of my personal milestone -- A THOUSAND Battle Hero Medals!

There are many here who have an insane number of BHs. But I play without packs and my strength isn't that high either and yet, I have more medals than someone like me should have.

So how was it possible? Well, all thanks to our eBrothers Bulgaria and MKD. We have devised a perfect system in which all of us plays fair and yet has fun. SO i focused mostly on IND, BLG and MKD battles. A huge thanks to BLG/MKD and their players for not stealing my BHs. These guys not stealing were as equally responsible for this tremendous achievement as me hitting. 😉

And not forgetting our newest but still awesome allies - Spain.

I owe this accomplishment to all three of you and I dedicate this personal milestone to all the players of eIndia, eBulgaria, eRepublic of Macedonia and eSpain.

This is the link of my 1000th BH - https://www.erepublik.com/en?viewPost=21307238

I wanted it to be for the Bulgarian side but I am content with it being in a BLG battle. Many ages ago, when I was of low strength, I must have made a BH attempt in the Bulgarian side. I lost. I spent a lot of cc and EBs to reach that damage. But someone stole it. In my sadness, I wrote an article about it complaining that a Bulgarian player took my BH. What happened next was various bulgarian players apologizing for someone else's mistake. These people didn't need to apologise, I was complaining about someone else. But random Bulgarian players gave me cc, food, weapons and gold. This might just be a game, but if we have dishonorable players, it becomes terrible to play.

What I had witnessed that day was a display of immeasurable honor. And I can only repay them by being equally honorable.

Why am I talking about this now? Well.. because we've forgotten the bonds that India, Bulgaria and Macedonia have formed. These bonds are not just bonds of convenience. These bonds are made from honor and unflinching friendship.

I am sometimes embarrassed that eIndia is a failure because we cannot even defend our own battles. Then I remember the quote - "No man is a failure if he has friends".

Thank you Bulgaria and MKD for your friendship and I am sure that India-Spanish friendship will also be glorious! We might be new friends, but you guys are already like family.

Cheers to all!
