[WM]POLITICAL AMNESIA

Day 969, 10:19 Published in Malaysia Malaysia by OPMM Wingman
What democracy has not done is deliver a good government or a good opposition. But democracy never promised us a perfect government or perfect opposition: it promises a better government and better opposition.

In the real world, democratic politics rarely delivers the best solution. Most people can come up with at least one better policy than the typical government. But recall the insight of this oft-quoted aphorism: democracy is the worst form of government, except for all the others that have been tried. Government is by nature inefficient — but democracy is the least inefficient form of government, because democracy promotes competition.

There’s a common joke about two hikers in a forest. They encounter a bear intent on devouring them. One stands frozen; the other starts undoing his bootlaces and putting on a pair of running shoes. “Why bother? We can’t outrun him anyway,” says the first hiker. “I don’t have to outrun the bear,” the other responds. “I just have to outrun you.”

The beauty of democracy is that while it may not deliver the best ePolitics, it delivers better ePolitics than any authoritarian government ever could. Would any of us, (any Parties in eMalaysia except PTOers), want to go back to July 25 and undo all the progress we have made since then? With real competition and real democracy, Parties in eMalaysia except PTOers have stepped up their efforts to prove their leadership — and that democratic success is something we should all celebrate as eMalaysians.

Competition means rooms for improvement for both government and opposition.

Peoples are not choosing the better eGovernment, we are just choosing the less corrupt, less cronies, less nepotism, less arrogant etc. This is our main principle, we cast our vote to punish the 'Severely' rotten parties.

But, how about our government can perform like developed country government once a day? Care of its peoples, no racism, fight of corruption, work together with opposition and so on. Are we going to retain the government for another terms? No, certainly not! We must remember competition means the rooms of improvement, do you think we (citizen) can get what we want if we are voting for the government without giving a chance to opposition like the past few years?

So, maybe someone will say what a pity to be a government. But all government including Real Life have a kind of behavior- If we don't give them the "Pain", we are never "Gain". So, cast your vote for opposition only, no matter how the government perform, and no matter who is the government!

Competition means better improvement and "Canning' education is better than "Sayang" education for government!

So, here, I would like to seek attention to all citizen, hope you can cast your vote on the next incoming congress election. Vote the right one. Don’t ever vote for PTO. Don’t try to mess up our government. Don’t let they (PTO) flick our money again!!
