Why MU's dont work

What im saying basically is that all of the military rewards in the game have nothing to do with your mu so players pour all their energy into these medals and epic points and then basically have nothing left for whatever their mu wants done. Because of this they do not really care about their mu's which means there is no real teamwork or social interaction in the mu which as basic building block of the game is required to maintain and add players to the game.
And to increase social interaction, teamwork , unity and loyalty within the military unit Plato needs to rebuild the military game around the military unit.
or tie it into the rest of the rewards. of course with a pro rata adjustment based on the number of active players in a military unit.

Ok I agree MUs do not work.
Everybody is in for their own reasons, but generally MUs have DOs that support the country the are based in.
Part of the bigger problem, people are leaving and the eRepublik has no way to get new players.

Funny how you bring this up after your biggest hitters leave because you insulted them. Now the MU you're in charge of, The IRISH ARMY is a graveyard full of multis as it's been minus Nerusia, Bied and a few others. Once I saw that I laughed my arse off. Karma is a B. 😃

I dare to disagree.
In my present & previous MU, we do organize and make plans on where & when to hit.
I can trust on our troops and I myself will stand up for ´em too.
Sure, it ain´t something one is able to gain in one night nor a week, but once acquired the MU is very strong, tightly bonded including social interaction.
Sure, I agree with some points here. For example, accomplishing DO´s should be more beneficial for both, MU & troops.
And yes, I´m aware of MU´s & Soldiers/tanks which do not care of each others too much. That´s sad, but still far from impossible to improve. I think it´s more or less of a person related issue..(??)
I maybe lucky with my MU history and what I´ve experienced so far, THANKS anyway.
But the team spirit gained is far far from coincidence.
MU's work when you are patriotic and look for the benefits of the country in whole. It works for every team player. You won't understand what I'm talking about unless u learn what team work is.
