To all the members of TUP, thank you for electing me. I am glad to see turnout was as high as it was, showing that we maintain a strong core of members and a vibrant community. I would also like to quickly announce McAfee01 as my Vice Party President. He has shown to have the knowledge and ideas to help move this party forward.
For too long, we have seen conflict and constant bickering across many parties. I would like to work on inter-party relations, ensuring that we can work as a government together, rather than overly politicizing everything. I hope I can maintain the good relations I have with members of other parties. We should place our country first before petty politics.
Are you interested in running for Congress? Signups are now available on the eUK Forums. If you are interested, let us know there. Sending me messages asking to run will only result in a reply asking you to make your statement of intent on the forums. If you are not yet on the forums and want access to our subforums, follow the instructions below. As a reminder, I am always supportive of newer players running for Congress. Younger players will be guaranteed a top spot in the Congress candidates list. So if you want to make a difference in this country and government, go ahead and give it a shot.

I actually tried to do it, a little, but got nowhere with the PP's at the time. To his credit, the only guy willing to talk was Goku. AC and thedark both ignored me, well, so did Lady M. The only thing we did was discuss citizenship...then nothing, even after I sent another message asking for a meet. And I seem to recall a talk with you, wayne...
So in the end, it all fell through.

@sexagenarian: Obviously that newspaper is not the official newspaper. Unfortunately every now and then you get rogue players who refuse to accept the reality. Best to ignore that.
@WayneKerr: I will admit that I alone cannot achieve this goal. It must be a collective effort from members of all parties. I just hope I can help push this community in the right direction.
I hope that there is some focus on recruitment. We have been woeful in this area for quite some time. The only reason it wasn't even worse, was due to our being the number one party and many people joining on that basis. Now that we've lost that advantage, a focus on recruitment becomes even more imperative.
