Join the new world

Many thanks for taking time out on Christmas to get online to vote. We ended this year on a high note, electing 11 congressmen (9 TUP and 2 UKRP). In total, we got 170 votes, which equates to 28.52% of the vote. Our combined efforts gave us back the top spot in an ever changing scenario in the political scene. We have a wide variety of people in office this month, reflecting both the diversity and unity in our party. Here are our Congresspersons for this term in alphabetical order:

Congratulations to 5butjam and Bogdan Vladuca, who were UKRP’s candidates who made it into Congress this month.



In other news, everything has been going exactly as planned. I am pleased at the progress we have made over the last ten days. We have gained over ten members while other parties begin to lose members. Activity on the forums and IRC remains strong.

Over the remainder of my term, I will continue working towards building stronger inter-party relations. As we approach the New Year and the Presidential Elections, it is important that we place our country before party politics. I also have a special surprise that will be revealed shortly before the elections, so stay tuned for that. I hope that we will become more prosperous in 2013, not just as a party, but as a nation.
