So it's president elections soon.
I wanted to know how things are in UK, so I contacted ChewChewShoe and interview him.

ChewChewShoe, you're running for presidency. Why?
I recently released an article regarding this very subject, where I explained that I am running due to my belief that we can restore the UK to what it once was, something which the past governments have failed to do. You can find the article here: www.erepublik.com/en/article/2312590/1/20

You're actually Swedish, why do you have CS in UK?
Actually, I'm half Swedish, half British in real life.
I started out playing in the eUS back in 2009, a country I left for Singapore quite shortly. Whilst in Singapore I met with the soon-to-be King Woldy I, and our relations grew stronger. After deciding to leave Singapore, I found myself in the UK. As the UK crumbled, I moved to Ireland, where I spent quite some time. With Ireland dying out, and with me having many good friends over in the eUK, I figured I'd give the eUK another shot.



What is the most important issue in UK right now?
The community is very divided, and we see far too much internal fighting. By promoting mutual cooperation I believe that we can help mend this wound.
What is the most important issue for you to do if you win?
The most important issue would be attempting to restore a community in the UK, something which has been lacking for quite some time now.

Do you want to conquer any region during your mandate if you win?
I do not have any plans of conquering any specific provinces as of now.
Which regions do you want to keep, that isn't one of your cores?
Mayo and Shannon gives us a food bonus, so I would be looking to keep those two regions.

What is the most important thing, to have great relations with your allies or having a perfect interior "battleforce"?
They are completely different things, if you ask me. Whilst a strong community in which the outside world is invited is a very good thing to have as a nation, a strong fighting force within the country is quite important too. In the case of the UK, I would have to go with having strong relations with the outside world.

Which department will you lay some extra power this mandate if you win?
I would be trying to focus quite a lot on Home Affairs should I win, as there is a lot of work that has been neglected in the field.

What are you thinking about your opponents?
Whilst Talon Karrde is a very famous player here in eRepublik, with quite a lot of experience behind him, I believe that quite a bit of dissent has been directed towards him lately, which has severely damaged his chances of winning. WookieO I honestly can't say that much about, he seems like a good guy, but I am not sure he has the experience needed for the office.

Who is the biggest threat to your acquisition of power ?
Quite frankly I can't say, whilst Talon has the very active and large TUP behind him, Wookie seems to eat third party support away like no tomorrow. With parties such as the UKPP already supporting him, and others such as UKRP, the PCP and ESO possibly following the same lead, I am not so sure. Should the UKRP, PCP and ESO support Wookie, I believe that he can be a bigger threat than Talon.

Ah, tough one. I can't really say I have one specific favourite, as I quite enjoy almost any food given to me. 😉
