Congress
Some people take congress very seriously and there is a lot of work to be done before most of us ever see the ballot. I'm just covering the basics.
This is how we roll:

Primaries:
The Socialist Freedom Party has a Democratic Primary. From the 16th-20th of each month, an open Call for Congress Candidates should be posted on the SFP Forum.
SFP Members should answer this Call by stating their desire to be a Congress Candidate. It's a good idea to leave a manifesto on why people should vote you. (Don't forget to apply on the Party Page.)

On the 20th of every month, a new thread should be opened for voting on the candidates. Voting will last until the 22nd of the month. This determines the candidates placement, so make sure to vote.

On the 24th the candidates will be organized, on the ballot, from the most votes to least.

Elected Congress Members:
When the Election clears, the Congress Whip will start a thread to discuss the rules and show you around. If you are unsure about anything, this is the person to ask.
I recommend that you sign up on This Forum.

Rules:
Congress has made enough rules to keep you reading for two days. Just pay attention to what your colleges are doing and follow these rules. You'll do fine.
#1. Don't discuss the private congress information with people that aren't in congress. (Except Party Presidents.)
#2. Don't grant citizenships. If a person asks you to do this, tell them who they should be asking. If you want to help, send a letter on their behalf.

We've still got days to go, so feel free to ask some questions.

Grab a pen and paper. Help us write the people's history.

BTW; Socialist Freedom Party has 100% congressional attendance. It's tough to represent our constituents, if we aren't there.
