The streets were filled with cheer. (With a few exceptions.) People turned out in droves. They ignored party lines and their battle cries were united; "End the sameness."

Gnilraps pulled an upset over Wild Owl. It was the first in eUS history and some of Wild Owl's supporters are already crying, "Foul!"
~Dick~
When I logged off; Gnilraps was winning by 7 votes, but here's the final count:

Gnilraps wins with 45.44% of the vote.

Wild Owl had 43.80% of the vote.

Ronald Gipper Regan had 5.83% of the vote.

George Armstrong Custer had 3.74% of the vote.

A. M. Celal Sengoer had 1.20% of the vote.

As Gnilraps enters office; he faces our toughest military campaign, in a long time.
The button had been pushed, before Gnilraps entered office and the history of our conflict with eChili goes back even longer.

During Tylar Bublar's term; eChili swept into eEurope, threatened our Atlantic borders and annexed our allies. As the eUS made it way to confront eChili; they Resistanced one of their regions and created an escape rout.
~Linda~
This time it's the ePacific Theatre and eChili seems to have the initiative.
I had no doubt that the outcome will be positive, but I encourage everyone to be attentive.

I was sitting on the toilet and reading a copy of Bid-Uns, when it accoured to me; "I'm running for party president of the Socialist Freedom Party."
