I totally felt it might happen. And from what I know, they would still do this in a heartbeat. Is it stupid? Yes. But this would not be the first time. Let's be honest. This game is about packs for a while now.
It doesn't matter that in the last 2 years, from the 80 000 - 90 000 "active users" (number from Community - My Country - Society) the number is down to 65 000.
What is happening with the game?
The Guerilla is/was a failure.
The divisions seemed like a good idea, then it came the Infantry Kit. Then it came the Maverick Pack.
The economy was lame, and they came with the Resource Wars, is the economy fixed? Yeah, cause I make 10% less in one day, and I need to travel daily. Lol.
What is the last change that was a huge success?
Sky battles! Letting the "old sharks" have fun with their tons of EB-s for SH medal was a good idea? Small guy was never able to hit a BH, because of Tanks, can never hit a SH medal because of the same Tank!
"Let's give chance for other people too!" Lol. Nailed it.

He gives posibilities to all, but create a border at some point but giving VIP entry for those who pay is always proven method of taking money. Just like Infantry kit, Maverick etc..

I dont know what I will do, prob buy 1-2 times, but its already to much. Its by far the most expensive game for me and for what?

that would be a sad addition. the choice and the ninja pack. there is too many "must have" packs already. blitzkrieg/power/maverick one more would be to many imo whatever the advantage.

Well, if you look at the ROI on most mobile games and the way the money is made there, its clear that any time or resource investment into this game is a bad management decision. The only reason for them to keep this game going would be if they wanted to keep their image and improve customer relations, which is clearly not the case. Instead they are becoming more and more dishonest and trying to bait the regular customers and nostalgia players to spend money in the game, they dont invest or care about. At this point, they are probably just breaking even with the income, that it generates, or the game is a side project for the couple of employes, which have other main tasks.
Problem is their other projects didn't turn out to be profitable and eRep is a cash cow considering spending patterns of whales. Game is and will be tailored to squeeze every last drop until it makes no more profit and who knows even Zynga pulled plug off for YoVille! when it had millions of users.

as i said in one of my articles before... i find air battles very good for the game... and very interesting... but, if they add air skill training grounds before they lure at least 300.000 new accounts on this game... than they will be very very stupid

The V1 economy is wrecked forever...they rushed into a bad V2 and just made it worse and worse..they were looking only to sell more gold...now they sell less to fewer players....new player retention must also be about zero...bring back V1 (haha).
V1 had no 'wait time' either...just one simple wall (no pretty pictures)....now it's waiting for D3 etc.
If it's true then, at last, I stop to play this stupid game.
1. I think the limits of the game were reached.
2. To be a cow milking is not a bad thing, but they must not beat cow for extra profit. That mean do not made pressure on buyers to increase costs, and that mean NO MORE PACKS !
3. I think this game should be friendly with ALL users, because without non-buyers, this game, this site is nothing. Even non-buyers are importants, maybe more important than buyers, for the health of that game. Give for non-buyers something FUN. This new Weekly challenge is a good thing in that way, buy your team can better dear Plato.
