[MoHA] Economic bonuses, and where to find them

Day 4,140, 02:20 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by Ministerie van Media en Recrui

Greetings citizens of the Netherlands,

in our last article, we have been talking about profitability of individual factories based on the article we have seen in Irish newspapers.

https://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-moha-profitability-of-factories-2692539/1/20

The most important advice in that article, we have given to all starting Dutch enterpreneurs was this:

!!!DO NOT BUILD COMPANIES IN DUTCH REGIONS. Even though it may sound patriotic to build here, we sadly have no bonuses, so you would not be getting profit from your factories, and it would be wasted investment!!!

Following on that topic, we will now bring you some of tips on where you should start your businesses, if you want to make good profit for both yourselves and this country. Do not forget, that part of the Work tax still goes to our treasury, even if you are producing abroad. And by creating more products and selling them on Dutch market, you can bring additional income to the treasury as well. So there is no need to be xenophobic about having your holdings elsewhere 😉 !

Also, note that this article will not talk about the costs of creating a new holding or moving your factories. The eRepublik Wikipedia describes that issue very well here:

https://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/Holding_company

So we will only say this: Building first holding is free. Second holding costs 25 gold (around 14 625 currency). Third 50 gold. Etc. And the maximum cost of moving your company is 20% of its value in currency (and that's only if you move it half across the world).

Example:
- Q1 food factory is worth 10 gold = approximately 5850 currency, so its moving costs should be between 234 currency and 1 170 currency.
- For Q4 raw factory, the moving price is between 340 currency and 1 700 currency.
- For Q7 weapon factory, the moving price is between 28 782 currency and 143 910 currency.

Summarizing example:

You are a starting enterpreneur, who has managed to build holding in Netherlands and few low level factories in it (let's say 5 Q1 food factories and 5 Q4 food raw). As you have learned more about economy now, you want to move your production elsewhere for bigger profits. So the costs in this case (including the cost of new holding) will be between 17 495 currency and 28 975 currency.

... well... guess we have covered the important basics, so the link to the Wiki is not needed, if the basics are enough for you.

So let's see some of the countries, where you can start your business. There are few criterias to follow:

- The country should be stable enough (= not being deleted from the map most of the time)
- The country should have low taxes (ideally 1% Work Tax)
- The country should be friendly to Netherlands (so you do not pay part of your taxes to the enemy)
- The country should be close to Netherlands (so your moving costs are not that high)

Also, always put your holding to the region with bonus. Yes, there is thing called "pollution" (read more non that on Wikipedia as well), which is affecting your production, but atleast you have a guarantee, that even if the country is occupied, you will still have access to your bonus. Besides, majority of good bonus regions already suffer from maximum pollution, so it cannot get worse.

For Food companies, there are a lot of good choices:

- China: Located quite far away from us, and having bonuses in three different regions. Also has 2% Work Tax.
- France: Close to Netherlands and has 1% Work tax. However their food bonuses are spread between three different regions and they need to rent deer from Cuba to keep full bonus.
- Estonia: Our close ally with 1% Work tax, and being in Europe = low moving cost. Their bonus is dependant on rental deals (at this moment Grain with South Korea and Furit from Germany).
- Japan: Quite far away, 2% Work Tax, needs to rent Fish from Israel for full bonus.
- Iran: Another ally with 1% Work Tax, however being located further from us. They need to rent Fish from Netherlands to have maximum bonus.
- Polan😛 Close, 1% Work Tax, most of their bonuses come through a rental deal with Germany, and they do not have direct access to fruit.
- Portugal: Close, 1% Work Tax, renting Fish from Peru, and not having direct access to fruits.
- Romania: Close, 1% Work Tax, renting Deer from Canada for full bonus.
- Russia: Not that close, 1% Work Tax, renting Fish from France for full bonus.
- Spain: Close, 1% Work Tax, renting Fish from Italy for full bonus.
- Ukraine: Quite close, 1% Work Tax, having bonuses in two different regions.

The same goes for weapons, so we will only mention some important differences below:

- Brazil: Quite far away, 1% Work Tax. Their Iron bonus is located in different region than rest of bonuses.
- Iran: Needs to rent Iron from Netherlands to keep their full bonus.
- Lithuania: Three different countries rent their bonuses to Lithuania. Also 4% Work Tax.
- Polan😛 Their Iron bonus is located in different region than rest of bonuses.
- Portugal: Needs to rent Iron from France to keep full bonus.
- Romania: Needs to rent Rubber from Canada to keep full bonus. Also their Iron is in different region than rest of bonuses.
- Russia: Needs to rent Iron from France to keep full bonus.
- Spain: Needs to rent Iron from Italy to keep full bonus.
- Ukraine: Needs to rent two high bonus resources from Cuba and Saudi Arabia to keep full bonus.

As you can see, full bonuses are mostly achieved only thanks to the rental concessions. That's why it is benefitial for countries to make these rental concessions 😉 !

Houses and aircraft weapons will not be mentioned in the article, as they are not an industry viable for starting enterpreneurs. If you want to learn more information on them, feel free to contact the Ministry of Finance.

If you want to know more, please do not hesitate to contact the government, who will give you more tips and tricks.
