Hello people, I started to write this story about a year ago. I don't think it's really good but I found it again and I wanted to publish it hope you enjoy and don't mind my English.

I wake up and turn my head to see it’s 23:48, time for the nightswift. I leave the bed silently cause I don’t want to wake up latifa, after a quick shower I slip into my uniform and leave the barrack. It’s quite peaceful on BGbase Java at night, the silence is only cut by a helicopter in the distance but that’s all I hear on my way to the command-center. On my way I pass hangar 7 which is off limits for normal personnel, Elle's fighter is in there and we think that’s the place it gets supplied with nukes but we ain’t sure because only she and her wingman Furio are allowed in there. As I approach on the command-center I’m greeted by some soldiers who address me as “bule” and add "gila" behind my back.



The Command-center is the biggest room on the basis I think apart from the hangars, it’s full of screens that show Maps, live feed from radar facility’s and live uplinks from other bases and our pacific fleet. JendralKopassus and icaks who have night duty with me are already there, I greet them with a salute and drop down in my chair. As always when we have nightduty we play cardgames, with at stake our tiny wamil wages, I usually lose but I always try my luck because there is nothing else to do anyway. When we take a break to check the systems I walk off to the up-link screens, it seems admiral masbro has night duty as well. As I’m having a short chat with masbro a small red dot appears on a screen at the left of me. When I turn my head I see it’s the interactive map of the radar facility on Sumatra and after the single dot several others appeared. After I pressed some buttons the image popped up on the main screen of the center, “Jendral I think you should see this!”... A few moments later the night is ripped apart by sirens and calls to battle-stations.



While the MoD is giving a speech to ABeRI I’m helping jendral to get his plane ready to depart. Jendral flies “the Kopassus” which is a cargo-commandplane hybrid, but we suspect him of having a precision bombing system aboard as well. I enter the loading bay where a jeep with a mounted gun and a quad are standing. At the moment I’m heading towards the passenger compartment I am ambushed, she caught me off guard so I smack against the wall, a few moments of hugs later Latifa allows me to stand up. As I get up I see that the scout team has gathered already, Icaks with 2 uzi’s, camouflaged Ekrem chehab with a sniperrifle, Sinaga as explosive expert with a shotgun and (my) Latifa is communication expert with a silenced sub-machinegun. They have my equipment with them as well, I put my armor on, get my knife, handgun and granates in position. I hang two ammunition belts around my neck and I pick up my M60 machine gun. The intercom gives a beep and Jendral announces that we’re ready to depart so I went with the others to the passenger compartment as we felt the plane moving. While we were taxing to runway 5 I got some glimpse of the other troops who were departing or making some last preparations. The tanks and armored vehicles will drive to the nearby naval port and board a vehicle-carrier, the infantry will go by helicopter to the southern beach where they should create a bridgehead for the vehicle-carriers to drop off the armored-battalion. I recognize herthzes transport tank after the plane made a sharp turn to line up with the runway. The roof of the tank still says: “Maho-Mobile” which ardy painted on there some weeks ago, it seems herthz hasn’t noticed it yet. The “fasten seatbelt” sign has been switched on and I hear sinaga rumbling some swearwords because the “No smoking” sign has been activated with it. I feel the plane accelerating and I look outside to the buildings that start flashing by; BG2 barracks, parade-field, shooting range, hangars 5, 6, 7, the assault course and finally the command tower. The nose of the plane rises, we break all chains to the ground and a few seconds later we’re air-born.

When we’re about to enter enemy airspace we get a call from masbro, he will send an escort with us. Jendral informs us over the intercom that there is a nice view at the left side of the plane, when we take a look we see bellow us the armada of Indonesia.

and that's how another adventure of BG-3 started …
