[Jim'll Fit It] Well, I haven't done one of these in a while

Day 3,203, 12:11 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Sir Jimmy Savile

Well, you know erepublik is boring when your MoD can find more motivation to write terrible news articles rather than updating the orders. So today's issue we'll be looking at the recent congress election, articles and wars.

So, the congress elections have come and gone. And I happened to be awake early enough (7:59am) to take a picture of the results before the voting deadline closed.

And then when the vote checking was done

For those of you who can't see the image, the results were (Pre Vote Check | Post Vote Check);
TUP - 44 Votes (27.5😵 | 44 Votes (28.21😵 | 11 Congressmen

UKRP - 35 Votes (21.88😵 | 35 Votes (22.44) | 9 Congressmen

WRP - 33 Votes (20.63😵 | 30 Votes (19.23😵 | 8 Congressmen

UKPP - 24 Votes (15😵 | 23 Votes (15.38😵 | 6 Congressmen

BP - 24 Votes (15😵 | 24 Votes (14.74😵 | 6 Congressmen

Surprisingly the WRP/ESO coalition lost 3 votes and possibly 1 congress seat. While UKPP lost 1 vote and no seats.

Now, if you have been reading the latest articles, you'll see that the recent craze is the possibility of the removal of the legislation. But the problem is, no one can decide what to replace it with. So far the best options are;

Abolish the meta completely - This is a petition by FightAndProduce to bassically allow congress to do what the game intended and nothing more or less. However he doesn't say whether or not the dictator will be removed to achieve this or not.

Next is Addaway's monarch proposal - This looks like a much more fun road to travel in terms of giving 1 person all the power of eUK and pray they dont mess up. It's a lot of pressure to put on someone for such a long time. HOWEVER! TRS will finally get their goal of an ultimate of a TRS government. Life would be much more relaxing with TRS in power and no congress.

If you want a quick review to read, Curtis has done a rundown on the proposals - Curtis has kindly made a rundown on why people want the legislation removed and what options are available. He has also included some ideas from the previous terms.

Those articles give you something to think about.

Ah, the exciting bit where I get to make up my own fantasies on how international politics work.

Sweden has apparently masterbated with Norway's trust. Turning it into a white sticky mess that won't clean off easily. When asked to stop, Sweden refused to reply and just stared into Norway's eyes, turning the trust damp.

After Spain giving Egypt a hard one, they seem to have turned around and said "Your turn".

This about summarises Bulgaria's campaign in Turkey

At the start it seemed that Greece where doing a good job smashing in MKD's backdoors. But now they seem to be all out of energy and MKD are carrying on the, passionate yet violent, love making.

Everywhere else just seems to be the foreplay of TW's
