[JDS] October Update!

Day 2,912, 19:53 Published in Australia Australia by Joey Development Scheme

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it an eleven day late update on the greatest new player scheme in eWorld history?

Er, yes – it’s that last one.

Apologies for the lateness but, you know, one of Kattrrina's cats ate my paperwork or it’s Guag’s fault or really any other excuse that you are prepared to buy.

But yes, here is a quick update on how the mighty Joey Development Scheme has performed in that wonderful month that was October.

This edition is brought to you in association with our proud sponsor:

Thanks guys. You guys are great, albeit imaginary. I assume. I didn’t actually check.

Anyways, there’s your sodding banner. Happy now?

OK, without further ado, here’s what we’ve been up to…

Guag grudgingly handed over the organisations funds from September, after a few sorry episodes including pretending he didn’t speak English, pretending he wasn’t “Guag” but “Gaug” and had no idea what I was talking about and one really embarrassing one where he turned the lights off and pretending not to be at home, but only after he already opened the door to me.

Anyways, we need not go into that – he handed over the funds which stood at: 13g and AU$69,682.

During October we helped out four new players and gave out in total 30g.
After changing some AUD for gold to facilitate that, we end up with 13g and $60,967.5g in the pot – and add to that 125 in endorsements to give a final cash total for Oct of $61092.50 to go with that 13g.

So, as I always say at this time of the article, 30g is good but it could be better! So, are you:

1. An Australian Citizen?
2. D1?
3. Nor previously a recipient of JDS cash?

Then this is for you. Drop me a PM and read the tasks here and let’s get some of this lovely money spent.

Remember – the JDS is an independent organisation and funded solely by donations, so if you are feeling rich then ping me some cash and I’ll give you a shout out in next month’s, er, this month’s article.

And finally, are you a current JDSer? Are you a wise old owl of eRepublik? Are you anyone else?

If the answer to any of those is yes (and it probably should be), any opinions on the task list would be welcomed. Should we remove the IRC/ forum requirements as those both seem pretty dead to me? Replace them with what?

What works and what doesn’t work?

Comment here or PM me and let me know!

Over and out,
Mongoosier
JDS Director
