[Fed] Lousy with PP's

Day 1,787, 07:17 Published in USA USA by fingerguns

I totally love it when this happens. We have so many awesome options for PP that it really doesn't matter who wins.

BigCDizzle- pimp. Certified.
AlexJ1890- legit. Certified.
Paul Proteus- boss. Certified.
Malarkey83- bro. Certified.
Duncan Crowe- future PP. Eventually. Definitely.

I want to talk about Duncan 'dunks' Crowe first. He's brand new to the party. He hasn't even been here a month, actually. He jumped right in though and now leads the treasury and has his hands in all sorts of different party departments and activities. He works hard and he's a smart guy and the best thing about him is that he's a lot of fun. It takes all 3 to be a good PP. I wasn't surprised he was nominated and it's been really awesome to watch him campaign for it. I heart you, Dunks.

The 4 other candidates are all known boss-level Feds.

So how do you determine who is right for the job?
Fight to the death? Random clicking?

How about a bunch of hard ass questions?

We went with that one.

Who you are, as a person:

*Boxers or briefs?
*Cake or Pie?
*Is it or is it not butter? Personally I cant believe its not butter.
*You walk into a room, all slow motion and stuff. What song is playing?

Party Structure/Leadership:

*What do you think was good about the last administration?
*What do you think we still need to work on?
*If you become PP for the upcoming month, what will be your number one goal for the party?
*Obviously, not only recruiting but sustaining new member activity is a tough and ongoing battle, how would you each try and keep new members involved?
*What is your plan to promote new players into leadership positions once they have proven themselves?
*If elected PP, will you let me do a Fed History night? (Tiacha)

National Politics/Congressional Elections:

*How are we going to organize Congress seats?
*Will there be a primary where the person with the most votes goes first, second most goes second etc. Or do you have another idea?
*With the new political module changes, how would you adapt your policies to fit the new module vs. the old?
*In your opinion, what is the most important quality in a Congressman?

Security Issues:

*This is regarding the AFA. Do you believe blacklisting these members is the right path, or do you believe that they should be turned, recruited?
*We're rather liberal with our forum access around here, and often grant it to citizens that we have good reason to be suspicious of. In your opinion, should we:

A. stop granting access to suspicious citizens entirely
B. Have them go through some process to prove they aren't baddies (what would that look like?)
C. Keep the gates open, as we have, so we can observe them observing us
D. Something else entirely

Explain your answer, please.

ETHICS:

*Do you support buying votes for articles? Why or why not?
*If the security of the nation hinges on only a handful of votes and we have simply exhausted all of our available resources, would you condone the use of multis to keep the eUS safe?
*If the eUSA faced a ePres. race such that iNci votes were needed to beat a PTO attempt and iNci wanted money, would you support the payment, from the eUSA treasury?
*In major national security issues of a time sensitive nature, would you feel comfortable acting as the single authority on behalf of the party, or do you think it's important to discuss and weigh every issue with a number of Fed leaders before pulling the trigger, regardless of what it is?

The candidates have all added their two cents on these issues. When it comes to how the party functions, there wasn't much variety. THAT'S A GOOD THING. We're all on the same page!!

It was everything else that shows you where these individuals are coming from. Feds, if you haven't made your decision yet, read through their answers to these tough questions here.

Voting Closes at 19:00 eRep time on Day 1789!!

Thank you to all of the awesome Feds who took the time to ask great questions.
