[eSWiss MoFA] TW, Alliance, allies situation

Hello dear citizens!

These days have been very busy organizing things in the government; I was personally assessing lviz in some procedures and formalities, to understand game mechanics and possibilities to start different projects in eSwitzerland, some of them have been talked and advised for the Government Team and others in the National Council briefly without any development yet. We have worked very close. I thank him for his trust and capacity to listen and decide properly in his 1st Presidency. We all wish him well.

This article will be long so we must explain what things have been discussing like MoFA. Some of them seem more difficult and need patience, perseverance, and think of all scenarios implied to reach to conclusions and proper decisions.

The peculiar line of safety, friendship and protection

We have been keeping the TW with France for a while. They have been great partners, helping in battles and paying our taxes in time. They have been always honorable with us.

France has TW in rotation and in ping pong way with Brazil, Argentina, Chile, all Andes alliance countries that try to save themselves from Asterian attacks in South America and found in France a gentle country willing to help and increase military strike power. France is a helpful country and a trusted friend in those cases. They have TW with Greece and the Republic of China (Taiwan) too. Bulgaria sent NE but didn't pass. Peace is restored. All this is written in French Media, available for all eRepublik Community.

Aside from that, we must take note that France declared publicly being ProCode and tried to join in game launching the law but that was stopped. Geopolitically inconvenient –they said- in these times for the token scandal situation and because most of CODE countries were boycotting the game for that, considering they were in disadvantage regarding Asterian countries. Before the Token issue, Asteria attacked any country at will, and CODE seemed able to liberate it. The balance should be restored somehow for all countries, no matter the alliance.

WHY DO WE SAY ALL THIS?

Well, Switzerland integrates Nebula, an alliance that has claimed to be mostly neutral, but Switzerland, having said for long that we are neutral, currently have MPP with 2 Asterian countries, which strategically are important in case we could need aid if the geopolitics and wills of other non-fellow alliances decide to play rough and affect our lands. This hasn’t happened but we were signing different MPP in time, Indonesia, Belarus (proCode), to have a wider scope of friends, considering our Alliance status.



The search of the 2nd partner

From March at least we have been looking for a 2nd partner for a TW. We have been bold and daring trying to seek in foreign cores. We have been analyzing some things. That means we must have:

1-our fighters must-have resources to maintain a 2nd war (that is why we were waiting for the data collected by our MoD regarding packs, timetables of connection, resources, etc)
2-support and help from allies in certain timetables (CP, MoFA, and MoD must work to contact people)
3-we must have enough power because if we attack, we must win direct battles, and that means more firepower than RW.

The task is difficult because we have 2 possibilities: by NE or AS. Either way, we are trying to find a suitable 2nd TW partner like you have read surely many times. The thing is that most of the countries don’t want us to go to their territories, which is way better for us but we can’t have a 2nd TW in our cores or our finances will be a disaster.

For that, we have to solve a couple of things:

*to not star a TW that causes problems to our allies (like blocking paths in territories)
*to not arising issues regarding our MPP alliance backgrounds at present,
*to not cause problems with Nebula country members (like happened with Belarus had some issues that solved in some way between Code and Asteria)

In order to have a 2nd TW, another thing to discuss and solve in congress and with our financial advisors:

*the CC and gold investments to have enough for tax payments (we will be attackers and will occupy territories). Our taxes are 1%, supposedly to gain investors in our country but we don’t have the policy to persuade them to bring here, except that recently we have accepted CS for people that look for a country with less TW and fewer embargos.
*from possible partners, and the regions they offer us, what bonuses are useful if we will pay taxes for them.

This Ministry is deeply involved in all the above mentioned. We have dropped 2 possible TW for blocking issues and for a useless bonus with unbalanced taxes return.

Lviz is seriously committed to finding a 2nd TW, more than when he was MoD (he is a sponge learning things of the game). He sees all these problems but we are discarding what is not profitable and realistic for eSwitzerland, and looking patiently. We will succeed in time.



About Nebula Alliance

This Minister, Clorofila, is still SoFA in the alliance, renewing the confidence and trust of our leader, Prince of Austria, working closely.

The Nebula Council evaluates some requests of certain countries to join the Alliance but we are not optimistic about the military situation of them or the consequences by accepting them. They are leaving their alliances in less than a month and we wonder about the impact of this. We will monitor and learn from it. We are a small alliance, peaceful, defensive mainly.

All Nebula countries developed their TW and agreements with other countries, except Belarus that was wiped (fighting against Lithuania, Ukraine, and Moldova). After that, Belarus had a referendum that brought the vote for neutrality. We hope Belarus can retrieve its cores.

Romania and Iran are in Austria, having TW. Czech Republic have TW too, agreed to have Romania and Poland alternating their territory.

Switzerland helps in their battles when possible, mainly at the request of our allies.

Some of our citizens have questioned the advantage of being part of an Alliance. This Ministry and the CP think that for now, we have a good atmosphere and environment of social, economic and military containment being part of this Alliance.

More or less these are the things we have been analizing and advising from March on, even when ALL WAS CALM and we were just saying we were standing firmly beyond troubles in the eWorld. 😛
