[CP] The Show Must Go On

Day 4,117, 05:29 Published in Australia Australia by Lawkee

Greetings dear eAustralia,

I wanted to publish this article a while ago, but due to small thing called RL I wasn't able to whip something up but here we are. I'd like to elaborate current state of things, reflect on what has been done so far, in order to keep the public up to date and well informed.

To be honest, I wasn't planning to run for CP again. Let me quote famous Mark Twain: ''Politicians and diapers must be changed often, and for the same reason.'' 😃 Seriously though, since few of the people around who are actually capable of leading the country aren't interested in assuming the CP role, and considering that I already got the nomination from the APP and the KHMC, I've decided to give it another shot. Many thanks to J Seemore and RonnyJnrJnr for their support. It has been an honor serving eAustralia so far, and I will continue to do so as long as you need me.

Current state of things in eAustralia and what has been done so far:

What I found disturbing so far is the fact that there's a number of people who are completely uninformed with lack of grasp for basic principles on which this game works. We haven't found a viable candidate for the MoI position so I'll try to explain by myself the whole situation and ''educate'' those who need it. The topic is quite extensive but I'll try not to write a big wall of text.

Even though we have active ''wars'' with Iran and Macedonia, eAustralia currently doesn't have an enemy. Those wars are Training Wars (TW), which means that we are actually not hostile towards each other. Why do we have TW if we are not hostile towards each other you may ask? Because you, the people, get the chance to earn True Patriot (TP), Battle Hero (BH), Campaign Hero (CH), Sky Hero (SH) medals and TP cash when you fight for Australia in those battles. Training Wars have been the most vital aspect of the game in the past 10 years. Hope you get the gist now.

We are communicating and cooperating with both Iran and Macedonia, and so far they've been nothing but friendly towards us. As you already know, we have signed concession agreements with Iran and Indonesia which brings us a certain amount of cash, thus enables our national MU program which has been a successful project so far. Our main agenda is activity and we are pushing it hoping that it will attract more people and bring some fun because after all, this is just a game.

Since we have a strong deal with Iran, where we ensured our protection as a part of the agreement, we've agreed to resume the concession agreement and end the TW after Iran gets liberated. Guys from Iran have a lot on their plate right now, and due to invasion on their cores the concession agreement between us is on hold. The subject of our talks after their liberation is going to be the rent of our Iron as a new part of the deal. This is going to strengthen our good relations and bring Australia even more cash. That's my plan and a main goal for the upcoming term.

Concession laws for renewal of the rent with Indonesia have been proposed and adopted. We get 350k cc each month from them as promised so nothing to add there. All good.

Our relations with Macedonia are ok, we have an ongoing TW. For us, it's completely irrelevant who is going to be our TW partner as long as they pay the taxes back to Iran, which is actually Iran's concern. We could end the TW with them but that would be simply against all logic. It's only certain that we NEED a TW. Having a TW abroad and not on our cores is impossible, trust me when I say that. Why? Because it's nearly impossible to find a partner who would be willing to have a TW on their cores, and also because we simply aren't strong enough to pull this off and keep the TW rolling.

Long story shorts we are doing great, even though we're far from perfect. There's a lot of room for improvement and that's the thing we're always gonna strive for. We're leading a responsible neutral policy where we make friends instead of enemies, where we focus on our economic growth, on boosting our activity, and helping out every individual in need from our small community.

If you have any questions please just ask me or any member of my cabinet and the answers shall be provided. Inform yourself first and gather the necessary info before you jump to conclusions. Like I said before, the whole situation is just too extensive to be put in one article but I hope I was able to clarify the whole thing just a bit without going too deep into the details.

I must give credit where credit is due: My cabinet is doing a great job and leading this country wouldn't be possible without their help. For me, as a guy who's not so good with digits, one of the most important jobs is tracking the concession numbers, which has been done diligently by J Seemore and SmokeHound. Also I'd like to thank RonnyJnrJnr, Nerx, Java Lava, Gueneo, Nazafyn and others (please forgive me if I forgot to add you to the list) for their valuable input and work they've done so far. You guys rock.

I'm still searching for a good candidate for the MoI role. Also if you're active, willing to help your country, and would like to join my cabinet just drop me a line.

Don't worry, there's plenty of room in my cabinet for you 😃

That's all for now, until next time,

Sincerely,

Lawkee
