[CNC] Open For Business!

Day 3,171, 19:11 Published in Canada Canada by New Faustian Man

Hello everyone,

This is an update article on the Canadian National Commune project.

Originally I'd envisaged founding things on a mass PM that would occasionally get an update to incorporate new volunteers, but due to the breakdown of volunteers that's unlikely to work effectively: the producer-worker ratio is way off.

So instead I'll publish an article every now and then, both as a means to advertise the existence of the CNC and to enable producers and workers to get involved in the project afresh.

Country Before Profit

The ethos of the CNC is putting country before profit, so any producers going into it please be aware that operating a commune, especially with missile prices/WAM fluctuating like they are, often means no profit from your factories, or even operating at a loss. Something everyone should be aware of before volunteering their services.

Which Industry?

It really helps our cause if onus is given to aircraft production, (especially in the long run as aircraft Training is added) as winning aircraft rounds has become a hugely important factor in winning campaigns overall. If eCanada can build a strong base of pilots our country receives a massive shot in the arm in terms of military performance.

However as things stand a commune producing Q7 Tanks still represents best value, as fighting with missiles or without in aircraft rounds is much the same in terms of damage output for the average fighter. Producers and employees are of course free to agree any contract they wish, whether the reward for the employee's labour is aircraft missiles or Q7 tanks is entirely at the discretion of the parties involved. As long as things work for both parties -- its good for eCanada.

Aircraft Training Ground Subsidies

In the future we'd like to organise government subsidies to get our pilots better Training Grounds as and when said Training Grounds become available, but that's a discussion for another day, and a discussion for the then presiding government to determine.

Canadian Air Force's CF-18 Hornet

So the format these articles take will pretty much be job advertising.

I'd ask every producer who wishes to take part in the CNC to advertise in the comment's section below, stating exactly what you're offering, so potential employees can respond to your post and you's can take it to private message in order to thrash out amongst yourselves whether it'll work for both parties.
