Dear eBelgians, Dear supporters from all around the eWorld,
It's me writing this article just now!

😛I won't make here huge promises. As you already have noticed, all of you, programs of CP (Country President) candidates are full of awweeeesome ideas. But nobody can realize the things he promises to do. Also, I've a RL life, like you, so I promise you only 2 things: do the job & put more fun in your game experience. I won't be the guy who will make eBelgium an Erepublik Empire. But I can PROMISE you MORE FUN. Or at least, I will try. FUN > Empire.
As you already know, I will be the next eBelgian Country President (ebe CP), if the God of the beavers want it. And, also, more important, if you support me on this way.
Seeing I won't be CP for myself, but FOR YOU (I only candidate because lots of awesome people here asked me to do it), you should be involved in this campaign for my election. It's PARTICIPATORY DEMOCRACY.
Also, I just have no clue about what should be the priorities of my Government. Or I have some but I'm too lazy to have intense reflexion on it and be more precise at the moment. You know what I mean.
So, please, give me ideas of things you think merit/should be in my plans for eBelgium. I will consider yours opinions

My main priorities:
- Restore FUN in our community.
eBelgium won't be an Empire. We're the best in the eWorld, but, I have to warn you... it won't happen. So, what should we do? Be serious, always serious and confuse RL President with Erep President, or confuse RL politics with Erep Politics, RL Wars with Erep Wars, etc.? I don't think so.
Play the game, but don't let the game play you.
- More DEMOCRACY
I will allow us to have a kind of Congress this month, even if it's not an in game one, because the risk of PTO still exist... Everyone in eBelgium should be get places to be heard!
- More battles
Even if we loose these battles, fighting is a nice way to trash our free time on eRepublik. I promise you to provoke all the countries needed to be under attack all the time. We won't be called eBelgian
- Freedom for eBelgium
To the way of success, we need our freedom. At least when there are no Congress election. And, more than that, we need to free Belgium from PTO & PTOers. I've already a crew of silent assasins on this project. You won't see them come. Special dedication to Thorin who, I know, read all my articles and will vote for me.
- More Bank Managers (BM)
Three people in eBelgium are the Guardians of ALL OUR HUGE NATIONAL TREASURY. My ideal: each eBelgian keeping a part of this, because you know, we're in this situation all togheters (special dedication to tommot & all the ATO members). More reasonably, I want to increase the number of BM & stay selective to be sure they don't steal our treasury (special dedication to UK). Our BM will continue their job of course, because they're great

Foreign Affairs
Increase respect people all around the world have for our community. It's really needed since CoT doesn't exist anymore (we're alone in this violent eWorld) They won't respect our little damages, but will respect our democracy and our people, if they discover how awesome we all are. Respect for awesomeness. It's in the pocket. We can build & share The Belgian Dream all around the eWorld (special dedication to Maresal, Vlad and all the other TBD members).
Education
More articles in French & Dutch for our new citizens. Because we canno't just stay an elite of English speakers (ok, my English is ****, then want? Hang me) o/
Finance
NLSP spent all our money. Ok, why not. Investments are needed for a new start. But now, unfortunately, we've to spend less and redefine new priorities for our money. I will increase prizes for citizens who make something to increase fun & social pleasure in the news & in eBelgium. People sharing love should get a gift for what they're doing.
So, send me your ideas, and if I've time and motivation, maybe I will use them during next month as you beloved CP (love you too my friends).

The community is a the most important thing in this game. In my country for example, there aren't many citizens, but we have a group of active players. This group is very unity and we are just having fun playing the game together. Take care of the active community by joint messages and humor as well.
Democracy - Again,, the advantage of small countries is that people can know each other and hear each other opinions even by one joint message. It makes the term much better when many citizens are involved in the decisions making. Survey is a good tool as well.
Battles - Very important to let our citizens to have some action and motivate them to stay in the game by fighting for their country. Even a battle once in a week can be great.
ATO - I think that a good solution would be to bring, some day before the elections, foreign citizens that can help with it. Maybe friends of Belgian citizens or random people that can help by a small motivation like food.
Treasury - The best way to keep your money safe is by transferring it (not all of that) to a governmental/national organization if you have one.
Foreign Affairs - Build a group of experienced people with connections around the eWorld, sign on MPP with countries you like and help your allies to strengthen the relations with it. Not much to say here, this is very important for every country.
Education - Well, I think that you should focus on bringing newbies ... because without new citizens there is no reason to publish education articles (the current community probably know the game features already), unless you are doing it in order to build a national library.
Finance - Make projects, follow the incomes and change the taxes according to the situation, give your citizens their basic needs - support the community. Use the money wise to sign on MPP and be prepared for a war. I can say more but I got almost no characters left.
I feel like this article is too general, but hey, it's just me.

ATO - eBe chose the wipe. it tried to invite people for ATO but they left after one election.
Education - there are newbies, but articles isn't a good media to talk to them. There's also multilingualism that makes it tricky.
Treasury - National organisation is the easiest to steal should an desirous CP be elected.

About the Education, there is an in-game chat, there are only few Belgian mentors, the government can use this chat and promote it. It's the best way to communicate with newbies.
About the organization, Of course that it's a risk because the president has the ability to change the password and the email of the organization and have a full access to it. But I think that it's better than keep it in the treasury. If the money is in the treasury, and eBalgium has a congress that was PTOed, then it dissppear as well ... Anyhow, there is another option - keep the money in a private hands, but it's risky and should get the approval of most of the citizens.
About ATO, I'm not familiar with the situation in eBelgium so I am not going to say more. You guys know what happened here better then me.
For now, our money has already been transfered to private hands 🙂
