[Aries Sun eBE CP] First Communication

Dear eBelgians,

I have been quite busy the last days by resetting State Orgs, discussing things and organizing a New eBelgium Order.

For a long time already I was thinking about starting a new way of the citizen’s communication which would serve as a sort of new medium channel replacing current so much disliked and unloved eBE Forum, the Congress mass PM, chat etc.. After speaking and discussing it with several of my comrades, I have the honor and the opportunity to present you with: a eBE Citizen’s National Assembly or eBE CNA (in an shortened abbreviation – the name which could serve us for the time being).









Ancient Athens was the cradle of democracy. The Athenian assembly (ἐκκλησία, ekklesia) was the most important institution, and every citizen could take part in the discussions. However, Athenian democracy was not representative, but rather direct, and therefore the ekklesia was different from the parliamentary system.

National Assembly politically is either a legislature, or the lower house of a bicameral legislature in some countries. In the English language it generally means "an assembly composed of the representatives of the nation. The population base represented by this name is manifestly the nation as a whole, as opposed to a geographically select population, such as that represented by a provincial assembly. Its powers vary according to the type of government. It may possess all the powers, generally governing by committee, or it may function within the legislative branch of the Government.







I am a supporter and the strong representative of the Free Citizens concept created by Paul Wellstone wherein he says: “As free citizens in a political democracy, we have a responsibility to be interested and involved in the affairs of the human community.”




I would like to replicate and implement the same idea into eBelgium, as I think all eBelgian citizens have the responsibility, should be able to participate actively and get involved in the eBelgium State affairs. And this democratic right shouldn’t be exclusively exercised only by the members of the Congress or the members of the Government.

In this newly created Citizen’s National Assembly all sorts of State affairs and the State matters could be discussed and pre-voted. Everything would happen here in-game. Directly, openly with full transparency. Giving the right to participation to all of eBelgian citizens.

The eBelgium Congress would from now on serve primarily and solely, as a purely advisory chamber; confirming laws, MPP-s and all other sort of legislative acts.

The eBE Government would for instance publish an article in "the Congress Newspaper" containing one or more various themes; about which all eBelgians would be able to discuss, vote and share their opinion in open by posting their comments.

So this way there would be no need for the Forum and for those monstrous Congress mass PM's like now.

The eBE Congress would afterwards only just confirm the decision which was decided by the majority.

This procedure would simplify everything and make our mutual life much easier.
