SURE DOES FEEL LIKE CHRISTMAS IN HERE!

The stage was set, the players were lined up in this epic chess match. No pawns on one side, nothing but pawns on the other. Knights, Bishops, Castles … Queens and Kings (Hue, Inside Party Jokes).

Why did I just compare last night to a chess game? Probably because for the last several months, that’s how it’s felt. AFA make their move, we retaliate. Difference is, they can only move in two directions … we have access to the entire board. We are side with no pawns … each of us individual and unique in our own (sometimes annoying) way. AFA is the pawn filled side, with only a handful of unique players, the rest echoing their masters sentiment.

The chess match has reached its Endgame, what happens next?

The American Military Party is back from its month-long absence!

Scores of people answered the DHS’s call yesterday - Some seeking to stick it to the AFA, some sought to end Unity, others like myself sought revenge and vindication. It is safe to say that the liberation of the AMP was a result of the community that makes this nation finally throwing aside their problems, throwing away their declarations that they won’t fight, and they also threw down the gauntlet to the AFA with one simple message.

We’ve had enough!

Yesterday, we all gathered as one, and we shouted that with such ferocity and verve that we ATO’d not one … But TWO Parties! Yesterday was a watershed moment in which we all gave the PTO movement the middle finger and showed them we would no longer be cowed into a defensive position less we try to be offensive and lose ground. Inhibitions were damned yesterday as we went on an all out attack!

To Stewy - I look forwards to seeing what you will do with your new party, lead it well!

To AMP - We have a lot of work to do. We passed the first hurdle in which we reclaimed our party, but now we face a greater challenge - We must recover! Last month was the culmination of a few bad choices and not having enough foresight to see what we should've seen … It was sorta like going to Rehab where we saw all our flaws and it wasn’t a pretty sight. Now we’ve left rehab, we’re going to try and come out of this stronger than before.

I thank you all for sticking by this party in it’s darkest time … darker than Potato’s Party Presidency xD!



But who will lead this party?

The funny thing is, when I ran for Party President, all my energy was devoted to thinking of how to appeal to you all and to stop FA from running the party into the ground. I honestly didn’t really think of my cabinet until a couple of days ago when I remembered … Dropped the ball there.

But that doesn’t mean I didn’t think hard when I had realised. It was then I saw that most of the people who really tried hard in our darkest days are still the right people for the job … albeit some changes here and there where appropriate! And so I give you my cabinet and fellow leaders! -

Chief of Staff - Dr Luis Sentieiro
I need a strong whip and an even hand. I needed someone who was willing to take the reins if I wasn’t around at the time. This is my man.

PAC - Evry
I actually considered moving Evry to a different department until he declined. Then somebody mentioned a thing or two and I thought “Why was I even moving Evry in the first place?” … He’s fine where he is.

Retention - Bruce Killah
Bruce was put in a difficult position last month when we suddenly found ourselves with no director for the department and growing frustration at nothing being done. With that, he stepped in, made some calls for the department and as such, he gets to keep doing his work!

Communications and Recruitment - Black Baroness
I’ve decided to recombine the Communications and Recruitment Departments back into one single entity. Communications really let me down last month and I wasn’t about to risk it happening again. I needed someone I could trust to keep this department running smoothly, and she won’t be doing it alone.

Security and Technology - BlondeNinja
She’s learnt, she’s adapted, and she’s dangerous to PTOers … attempted and proven. Best beware if you try and sneak in here again.

Media - Mr. Swagg
This department ALWAYS needs swag, and that’s what it has now. There’s not many people in the party who are so media minded, but Swagg is one of them. His role IS slightly neutered since Radio is out of his control … :3

And not really a department but:

My Queen - Sarah Killah
So, it’s a long running joke in the party that since I’m a dinosaur of the party (1 year 9 months and counting in Leadership), and British … I’m the King of the party (And there goes the party inside joke I mentioned earlier). But what is a King without a Queen? Well, that slot is taken people … permanently. There was only ever going to be one woman for this, and it was always going to be my wife, Sarah :3



Theres much to be done, and as always, only a month at the moment to do it in.
