What happened is that the South African Police runs a help line and tip off line on the Internet. All information is typed into csv files and stored for later use or whatever. Anyway this guy went and entered this site. Would it be OK to have placed a banner then like "You suck popos - and are bloody murderers" Not really but there wouldnt be that much harm. What this douchebag did and although he lies his ass off about it now is he stole this file containing all of the addresses of the people that provided the police with information. I have been following him for a few hours and he finally gave away the download link confirming his 100% guilt. What is so crazy abouth this- you may ask? Simply put - Im John Q drug dealer 4 years ago I got busted on anonymous(yes ironic) information provided to the police. Today I learn of this hack and get the file CTRL + F in the file looking for my surname- ahh great so this old geeezer was the little birdie that ended my career well lets go and quit him. Dont believe me this was one of the gems I found (names have been hidden)

I was raped and the work took me to the police station in B. I left there because they said they would have to tell my parents and I did not want that. I went back to work and my boss asked for the police to come to the work. when they did come, they went to the parcel counter at the shop that I was workin at and asked for the girl that was raped. as a result, everyone in the shop knew that I was raped. It is bad enough going through the experiance and surviving it but having everyone that you work with know what happened to you was too much. They should have been more sensitive and I will never forget it. I feel that I never want to go to the police for anything again!

And now imagine everyone in the world knows of this girls ordeal.

Not in all cases info is provided but I saw some criminals named(perhaps innocently) and some actual names naming criminals.

For a group prouding themselves on respecting anonymity they just exposed 15000 south africans that either reported crimes and criminals.

I can just say that this is a low day for all and I feel that the hacker should be severely punished.

I dont have a problem with hactivism but when they attack victims of crimes or put normal people in harms way their time has come.
