Communism (from Latin communis - common, universal) is a revolutionary socialist movement to create a classless, moneyless[1][2] and stateless social order structured upon common ownership of the means of production, as well as a social, political and economic ideology that aims at the establishment of this social order.[3] This movement, in its Marxist–Leninist interpretations, significantly influenced the history of the 20th century, which saw intense rivalry between the "socialist world" (socialist states ruled by communist parties) and the "western world" (countries with capitalist economies).[4]
Marxist theory holds that pure communism or full communism is a specific stage of historical development that inevitably emerges from the development of the productive forces that leads to a superabundance of material wealth, allowing for distribution based on need and social relations based on freely associated individuals.[5][6] The exact definition of communism varies, and it is often mistakenly, in general political discourse, used interchangeably with socialism; however, Marxist theory contends that socialism is just a transitional stage on the road to communism. Leninism adds to Marxism the notion of a vanguard party to lead the proletarian revolution and to secure all political power after the revolution for the working class, for the development of universal class consciousness and worker participation, in a transitional stage between capitalism and communism.

Wikipedia goes further and points out that communism is now perceived as the doctrines put forward by communist states nonetheless their real economic policies.

I saw a interesting documentary about John D Rockefeller: At first he had a deal with Vanderbilt and Scott for them to deliver oil to his kerosene factories. He had by that time became the biggest deliverer of kerosene to the public. So they expanded massively based on his success. The problem is they tried to wiggle out of the deal and raise their transport fees. Whether that was an economic necessity is unknown the doccie just shows them sending a single letter to him informing him of the fact. They should have handled it otherwise as all Rockefeller did was device a pipeline from the oil digs to his refinery. This led to a depression (not the big one) as the railway companies lost now a lot of income. Leading to layoffs etc. In this depression Rockefeller bought up failing oil companies that relied on the railways which had gone belly up. Scott survived due to the Pittsburgh to New York line that had no pipeline. So after a few years Scott gets the massive spark of an idea to diversify into his main clients business relying on the fact that Rockefeller needed the Pittsburgh line. He even went and told him this in his face. What does Rockefeller do close his Pittsburgh refinery and takes the knock. What happens to Scott he goes belly up.

Rockefeller IV says of his Rockefeller that it seems hard to understand how a person could be so ruthless but that was perhaps what was required in his industry at the time.

I am not certain of the stateless order. We mostly see the state controlling everything. Is socialism still possible. In our country we have a government that actually hunts down businesses. Every few years they will implement some kind of idiotic law that knocks say the pharmacy industry to its knees. For example putting a hard cap on medicine prices which meant many pharmacies hit the pavement as an effect. They increased minimum workers loan if you used IEP as an equivalent in the farming industry from 50 to 65 to 105 IEP in one year the last due to socialist pressure. They finally have started the process of their own destruction. For the masses rely on cheap food. Farmers is now trimming and will mechanize their industry considerably. This leads to even less work. This affect mostly uneducated males between 18 and 60 years as there is no state pension to cover them. There is however a state pension for bastard children that will reach 805 IEP a month this year I have been told. Here we see the effects of socialism at its best. Young woman have no ambition anymore for every child they produce ensures them a reliable income. Produce 5 and you and your family can life on that income. Raise the income to 805 and you have a great income if your raise 10 children. But 805 is not sustainable if your are creating even more joblessness. The government just implemented a law and do not give a fuck for the consequences. That is perhaps the biggest danger with socialist governments our workers need more pay our unwed mothers need an income :Boom law nevermind the consequences. 805 per month from I think the previous 150 or 250 puts a big strain on our taxpayers. With socialist ideas curbing their income even more like Black economic empowerment etc one can easily see that there is a tolerance level and that 805 is over it.

Socialism and communism can only be a viable solution if its implemented in a very careful way causing no social backlash. And that is its biggest problem cause you need a kind of hippie economist social guru. the person must have the patience not to become oppressive in implementing the law and then create a law that do not mess up the economy and lastly that do not mess up people on a social level. I dont think there is any government that can implement this concept successfully. For government need power, military, money etc etc. And usually due to internal strive and incompetence and laziness just never reach the massive heights a true socialist regime requires. The capitalist system is easier it requires less money etc. It leaves people to their own devices in about 70% of their activities.

Even if capitalism leads to poverty and hardship the individual can still rise to great heights. He can still take his abilities and skills and most importantly his ideas and make something of it. For me this is very important.

So finally what is wrong with Banism or the pursuit of weed in a socialist way. Munchies! Yes people smoking weed will cause a lot of munchies and without there being normal people to create the food for the munchies it poses a massive problem.
