It was my pleasure to accept the nomination of the WTP, BSP AND USWP for my last run as your President. I appreciate everyone who advocated for me! So thank you again!
GIMP AC.
Two recent changes will be coming to the next GIMP payout. 1st, under previous payouts, Air Commodore (AC) were excluded from GIMP payouts. This administration will be including them at Group Captain (GC) per hit rates going forward; they will no longer be excluded. Without TP money flowing to air fighters, cutting off players that hit (AC) is particularly cruel and unfair. The hardest hit accounts will be those low strength players who focus exclusively on air. So as players slowly and continuously rank up, expanding the program to include AC players is the right thing to do.
Because of this change, I would encourage AC players who did not qualify under previous payout structures but do now to apply, such as jaywalker71,Super Nova, Kxrt, stvarca, Ronald.R, BaKaRaS, Slava, hazelh, chazp, adrjo, Ariakis.
The 2nd change will be that players must do at least 25 kills per week in air to qualify for the budget bonus portion of Gimp. Basically, after we payout rank bonuses, and hits per kill, whatever is left is divided per capita based on applicants. To qualify for this portion of Gimp, you must do at least 25 kills per week in air. It’s a very small amount but is inline with the spirit of the program, ie furthering air rank. Last week's bonus budget portion of Gimp was 16,000 cc per person, so it’s certainly worth doing. I expect this number to drop slightly as we expand support to AC, but it should still be a sizable amount.
To date, American citizens have earned a whopping 51.9 million cc through GIMP. We truly are the most generous nation in the game.

This administration was able to reduce our trial period in Apollo from 90 days to 60 days. Our trial period in Apollo has concluded now and we are officially full members of the alliance. We look forward to participating in future ops with our alliance-mates.

Will GIMP also apply for Air Vice Marshals - should reach this sometime this year (if still playing).
So currently this only applies to hits per kills for AC, I don't think we have any AVM yet. Expanding it to AVM is possible but was not something that was discussed and would require us to revisit some of the backend code. When you reach AVM that would be a good time to talk with whoever is CP and encourage them to expand the program and get the coding completed for that.
I mean, when I changed the code I removed the cap entirely for the hit calculation. So AVM would still get it, as currently implemented.
Worth noting that rank up bonuses won't be applied for these newly covered ranks, though.
